Good.

Just be brave and dont let your mind be ruled by fear of threats of hell from the imaginary Gods of these religionists.

Seek for the truth, discover the truth and believe the truth NOT what you are told to believe by fellow men.

I sincerely wish you all the best.

The truth is that we are mostly a product of our system. The American slaves were deprived of education because the white man knows that a "right education" liberates the mind and make people to think for themselves. I used the word "right education" because, during the middle age period, the mind and thought of Europeans were controlled by their rulers through determining the kind of books or knowledge they are supposed to read, so even though some were educated in a particular field, most of the education were biased and meant to make them a loyal subject of their rulers.
People should know that any system that try to restrict them from trying something else is probably hiding something. The good thing about this era is that we have access to unlimited information on the Internet, that knowledge can easily to acquired through doing a personal research yourself and determining what you feel is correct based on knowledge rather than cultural indoctrination.
Keep on searching and you will see the truth.

cyrexx: Permit me to share this beautiful lady's deconversion story...

Just because we discover that a few doctrines we were taught from our youth turned out to be false , does not remove the responsibility that we have towards finding out the truth.

We have a personal responsibility to search out truths. If our search leads us away from the concept of GOD that’s our prerogative, but do not forget that there are countless thousands like myself who have come to a knowledge of the truth and are being brought into a deeper understanding and relationship with GOD.

Also , it is not very easy to know GOD in a real and personal way and then to turn round and say God does not exist, it takes years and years of disillusionment, false conversions , poor role models and laziness in scripture study to come to such a conclusion.

For me, knowing that GOD is not a sadist , and that his intent is to give me everlasting life in a new earth and new heaven , knowing that he wishes for the death of no one , and that he is not a task master, changed my whole attitude and approach to Christ.

I had lived under the fear of a curse because of tithes, a fear of displeasing some great MOG, fear of eternal torment not just for me but for my relatives, friends and countless others, fear of not going to church on Sunday and the list goes on and on. Now I live in freedom, GOD’s opinion is what counts, away with the opinions and doctrines of MEN.

The Holy Spirit is our ultimate teacher, if we do not have the Holy Spirit, we have failed from the beginning. We need him , we must ask for his guidance, we must like Solomon ask GOD for wisdom, we need our understanding enlightened before the darkness overtakes our minds under the influences of the devil.

It's annoying and sad to see how lazy many Christians are and how stubborn they continue to follow MEN into perdition, but we will fight this scourge, and we are just starting , it will be carried on till we expose as many falsehoods as possible and deliver countless souls by the power of GOD from the diabolic grip of MAN .

Frosbel's SPAGing.. cheesy

Good day Sir....
I do think it's possible for one to know the true 'god' and still turn away from him. The parable of the sower kind of illustrates this as well as another verse somewhere which says something along the line that's impossible to bring back those who have tasted of the Holy Spirit and discarded it.

I'm also of the opinion that, in man's search for truth, atheism and agnosticism are also viable paths.

God, I believe (maybe I'm guilty of SPAGing too), would be more interested in our actions and relationship with men, rather than what 'myth' we choose to believe or not.

I could have decided to remain a Christian, but you can't keep choosing what part of the Bible to believe, call an allegory, discard, gloss over... It becomes tiresome after a while.. You ever wonder why most here see you as a future atheist?

Anony wouldn't be so 'sure' of his stand in Christ now if he hadn't been an atheist and quite strangely a 'satanist' too..

My point: everything has a purpose.... cheesy

I agree, but my point is that it will take a combination of events to lead to this path.

I also derailed from the faith once or even twice, but I still believed in GOD and was fearful of offending him for fear of an immediate torment in the fires of HELL . It was almost impossible for me to follow him , the way religion had defined and designed , in combination with my experiences.

Like I said, it's our prerogative for what we believe or do not believe, nothing should be done by compulsion for GOD does not want to dwell with a company of robots.

It's very strange how some of us with or without religion are very strong and almost daring in our understanding that GOD indeed exists.

Anyway , we are just starting, we have a long way to go grin

Being a christian depends on following the teachings of Jesus and not every teaching you find in the bible. So if you must choose focus exclusively on the teachings of christ and you would begin to see things in a clearer perspective.

This is my present status brother.

I don't mind teachers and or pastors, but once their position contradicts the teachings of JESUS , it MUST be discarded immediately.

In the past , as a young Christian, I was unable to do this because of the fear and respect we had for these men , almost as if they were the final authority on the word of GOD and no more the Holy Spirit ?
