In a sane society, this serial crook would have been counting days drawing grafities in a maximum security prison cell.
We would rather associate ourselves with teenagers than with glorified band of shameless aged cleptomaniacs.

QED
Part of the problem is that we don't understand what federalism is all about! In federal structure like Nigeria, powers and responsibilities are shared between fed and state and even LGs, but due to d fact that most states including those governed by the opposition have failed in their responsibility for which they get hundreds of billion annually, everybody blames GEJ/ Fed govt. Who should we blame for poor health facilities in the 36 states of the federation? The governors who budget billions for health and at the end do nothing or the Fed govt that owns less than 100 hospitals nation wide? Who do we blame for insecurity in the North ? The governors who get billions yet churn out illiterate almajiris or the fed govt? Am nt exonerating Fed govt, but am saying that the responsibility to develop Nigeria rests more on states where alosy evvery Nigerian lives and the governors are the people we should blame more for such failure witnessed over the last 14yrs and not only Fed govt

On what basis do people base their opinion or assertion that APC will defeat PDP when we havent seen their manifesto or even know their Presidential candidate. Is it under the assumption that the merger will produce a large support base or on which basis? Opinions such as like the supporters of ACN + ANPP + APGA + CPC will all vote under one umbrella is simply taking the Nigerian electorates for granted. What new thing are they bringing to the table? What is their manifesto, programmes or how will they do it better? We need to know all these before shouting El Dorado.

For a start, the Thread's Title is misleading; Bode George said, APC is a Party of Political Teenagers, meaning inexperienced Politicians, I disagree, but what I think is, APC is made up of, largely as we know, regional politicians with regional and selfish interests which at the end boils down to personal wealth because we have seen that the opposition leaders are working for their bank accounts. But the question remains if the founding fathers of the different regional factions will drop their regional interests to pursue a national goal. Will Tinubu and Buhari and ApGA factions drop their selfish West, North, East manifestos and pursue a holistic policy plan with national structures ? I will be impressed if we can have a nationally based opposition party that can challenge PDP and criticise sensibly for the gains of all Nigerians and Nigeria. Goodluck to Nigeria.

Thank you.
I am surprised also why the FG who takes 52.4% of every dime that comes into Nigeria's coffer will be less accountable as compared to 36 states and LGs sharing the remaining 47.6%.
In simple maths.
For every 1 billion Naira that Nigeria has.
FG takes 524 million.
36 states share 476 million.
Though Oil producing states get more than others.
However, Each state will get 476/36 = 13.2 million averagely.
some states get less while some gets more.
I am also not speaking for the governors, but our truth must not be one-sided.

What manifesto did PDP present before you voted them in? PDP that couldn't stand a political debate with other parties in 2011. As silly as some Nigerians are, the manifesto of PDP was "I had no shoes" and you are now asking for manifesto. Please be sincere to urself. PDP has nothing to offer. A party where 99.99% of them are criminals, what reason do you have not to vote them out?

FreeGlobe:
Former National Vice- Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Bode George, has dismissed the merger deal between the main opposition parties that culminated in formation of the All Progressive Congress (APC). The Action Congress of Nigeria, (ACN), the All Nigerian Peoples’ Party, (ANPP) and the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), as well as certain chieftains of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA),

had on Wednesday announced the formation of the APC which they vowed, would unseat the ruling PDP in 2015 general elections. Chief Tom Ikimi who addressed newsmen in Abuja said that the merger was informed by the, ‘’resolve to form a political party committed to the principles of internal democracy, focused on serious issues of concern to our people,

determined to bring corruption and insecurity to an end, determined to grow our economy and create jobs in their millions through education, housing, agriculture, industrial growth and stop the increasing mood of despair and hopelessness among our people.’’ But speaking with Sunday Sun on phone, Chief Bode George declared that the APC was a coalition of teenagers in politics on a road to nowhere. He further submitted that the chieftains of the ACN and the CPC whom he noted were in the vanguard of the merger deal were strange bedfellows with no common ground.

“They are teenagers in politics of this country and we aren’t afraid of them. It is even good that for the first time, we are having a semblance of opposition who are living their comfort zones as tribal warlords. Let us see how Bola Tinubu and General Muhammadu Buhari would sustain this. We aren’t afraid. Can Tinubu work with Buhari? It is a huge joke. Where are they going to meet? They are incompatible. They have no common ground.” The PDP chieftain further expressed confidence that the party would remain the party to beat in the country, as he claimed that it was “the only party that has the true colours” of the country.

“The foundation that brought PDP was a coalition of people with different ideologies. It was created to fight the General Sani Abacha regime. But our founding fathers laid a solid foundation. It is PDP with our Constitution that has sustained democracy. We have existed for 14 years.

Before, politicians only held sway in their tribal zones, but the founding fathers of PDP created a sense of oneness. It is the only party that has the true colours of this country. It is in PDP that you have the major ethnic groups in the country and the minorities coalescing together,” he said.

An interview with a bloody criminal is one wrong thing, but to do the interview without the so-called journalist mentioning ONCE he is a convict shows this is a bribed journalist.

I cannot wait to hear that this cretin calling himself journalist, Taiwo Amodu, has been slaughtered by Almajiris in the North or armed robbers or he died/is handicapped in a car crash.

Let the fooooool suffer the consequences of the criminals he is helping.
