You make it sound like the 1960s army was purely an Igbo army. The last time I checked the records the army was a Nigerian army with men and officers from the different regions that made up Nigeria then, then why do you suppose Ihejirika was talking about the IGBOS?
Ihejirika should be allowed to do his job the way past service chiefs, comptroller generals of Customs, Prisons etc both present and past have been allowed to do theirs.

personally i still maintain this army thing should not be politicize as rightly noted by COAS.The country get as e be! he noted also that the Army remains one of a few organizations in Nigeria that hold our unity together.That is not far from the truth.Abeg make una take am carefully. !!!
