Most times, people do some certain things out of greed, love or weakness for such things. Especially those that cheat on their partners. Atimes, some of them do it not cos they want to, but cos they're too weak to resist such temptation. And this is more common with some married women or girls, who sometimes cheat on their partners due to circumstances 'beyond' their control. while in the case of men, many of them cheat with their eyes wide open. They know it's wrong, dirty and bad, but yet they indulge in it. And some do theirs with their wedding ring on, while others hide theirs either inside their pocket or in their cars. they simply find it difficult to resist the urge to frolic with other women, giving one excuse or the other. such men flirt and prowl with pride. And many of them have had their asses burnt for fallen into temptation.
Just like the case of a married man who got more than he could chew, when he decided to sleep with a prostitute simply cos his wife was heavily pregnant. But as he was about to sleep with the prostitute (after reaching an agreement with her), he unexpectedly got a call from his pregnant wife and that put him off completely from committing the adulterous act. But the prostitute would have none of it. Having stripped herself naked and waiting to be slept with.She insisted the man must either sleep with her or also strip himself naked, having seen her unclothedness. That wasn't the prostitute talking, but the devil. as an accuser of brethren right there and then. Cos, what difference would seeing or not seeing another man's unclothedness make, having seen the unclothedness of enough men as a prostitute. well, you cant blame her, but the man who carried his two 'left' leg to the lair of an harlot, simply cos his wife was heavily pregnant.
We really need to be strong enough to resist the temptation of the flesh. especially as a married person. Cos that's when you'd face more temptation. Some usually find it difficult to adjust to their new status as a married person. like still keeping in touch with ex lovers, mixing with irresponsible friends, or indulging in acts meant for unmarried people. Temptations will always come, but by HIS grace you can overcome them, if you are willing to...

I like the last words you used: 'if you are willing'. The faithful and disciplined people out there are no different from those who sleep around. The mind is the most powerful sex organ, that's where the control starts. Sadly many have transferred their thinking faculties to what lies between their legs. I don't believe sex is ever a mistake, You plan it consciously or unconsciously by putting yourself in compromising positions which provide the catalyst for it to happen.

Personally, I am grateful to God cause there is nothing you would do to seduce me or something... Self control matters a lot and unless a whole lot of people build themselves to be able to control their sexual urges, they will keep living lives like animals with no self-control...

Like someone rightly said, if and only if you would program your mind the right way, then getting over it would be just a piece of cake. When you tell yourself often that you cant do without it, your sub-conscious picks it up and stores it, and even when you aint ready to give in to such, your subconscious tells you that you should remember you cant do without it...

So, there is need or people to re-program their minds the right way as not to fall prey to this menace subconsciously.
