During my own time, my department used to photocopy all call up letters before issuing them out. So, check with your sch if they had a back up copy which u can use as a back up.

Also knw dat u hv to sort this out cos once u collected ur letter and signed , not showing up in camp in camp will be deemed as abscondment and u will be treated as such.

Lastly, if u have sb at the national headquarters, ask the person for assistance cos no peripheral personel might be able to really rectify this issue.

Don't let the blames from nairalanders depress u the more, but next time u r in such a situation, keep it safe and make a duplicate before leaving the collection premise.

collect an affidavit, get a letter of introduction from your school quoting your call up number. your call up letter has a counterfoil with nysc. with those u can get registered.

go back to your school and report to them.they will fix you in the next batch. it happened it my friend 2011, due to over excitement, he lost his callup and the only option left was to fix him in the next batch.

eeya sorry my guy, go back to ur sch,and make sure you still hv ur mobilization number with you, nysc still have the duplicate of ur lost call up letter, am sure their will be a solution.

It happened to me years back(2003 precisely)...Swear an Affidavit, then get a police report and other forms of identification....Proceed to Camp, they usually have another copy of your Letter with them there..
I'm sure u can take it on frm dere..

pls dnt judge him, but the best advice is to register for Jamb as soon as possible to start all over, caus u will need alot of connections to ever get another one. Caus it will be assumed u sold it caus there are lots of frud in nysc now

On a serious note guy Abeg go find ur call up letter o Datz Jst my candid advice for u.

See friend, hope is not lost, pack your bags and head straight to the camp where you where posted. When you reach the camp, go straight to the NYSC state coordinator, explain to him or here that, your call-up letter was snatch at the bus stop on your way to camp, don't tell him you lost it with your carelessness, am very sure, if he find out true informations from you that you are genuinely mobilized, he will surely order for a new call - up letter for you in Abuja. This issue happened when I was in Agwu camp, in enugu and the girl was given a new call up letter with stress, go straight to your camp now and pray as you are going.
