I recently read a book by Dr Gary Chapman, where he listed 5 primary ways we show and receive love. they are 1.WORDS OF AFFIRMATION This includes compliments, letting your partner know how important they are to you, how you value the things they are doing and have done 2.ACTS OF SERVICE Helping your partner with house chores or whatever they are engaged in 3.GIFTS This one is self explanatory, mind you, the type of gift does not count but the gesture is what really counts. 4.QUALITY TIME Being there physically, giving your partner constant undivided attention 5.PHYSICAL TOUCH Holding hands, hugging, cuddling, sex etc we'll show love in the above listed ways, but we are primarily strong in one!!! Personally mine is words of affirmation, which one is yours? and just incase yours isnt listed, pls do tell us!!! |

Thanks guys, Another fact is, failure to continue speaking love in your partners language will lead to a slow death of the relationship. as the author called it 'an empty emotional tank' So you hear a guy/girl saying when we just met he/she used to do this or say that, and now that it has all stopped they no longer feel loved!!! 1 Like |

All of the above. Well, I'd choose words of affirmation as my primary love language. Verbal compliments are powerful communicators of love. |

190: LOVE is a verb:an action word... so how do you prove/show that you love her? It has to be in the 5ways i listed above, at least |
