1.Pix shows cars on their way out of the parks,from this point they will be driven by their escorts to where they'll be tagged with escort tags.The yellow stickers are temporary plate numbers which expires after 15HRS cos they authorities in Cotonou belive your car should be in Nigeria by that time.

I've accepted all BB requests,I was in church when they came in.

We have a story to tell you and it's about a 2004 Rav4.

For privacy,our client will be named MR Z and the location where the jeep was delivered in Kogi will not be disclosed.

When Mr Z called us,we initially gave him an asking price of 2....M,which was the trending asking price in the market and the normal option,come into cotonou and bargain.

On getting to the parks,we went roundsome car dealers to inspect and bargain for a price within his budget and fortunately after going round the parks we saw this lovely looking Rav4,almost brand new and lo and behold,Mr Z was able to shave off 300K from the initial asking price.

This shows the way we at Jelad ventures operate.We don't give out final/last prices because we don't have the power to give a last price,we've had instances where agents give prospective customers ridiculous prices e:g 07 camry XLE for 1.6M or 2004 highlander for 1.2M etc.

What these agents gamble on is this,they knowsome Nigerians are always greedy and want cars which are almost free,they prey on you when you show up in Cotonou just because they know opnce you've seen the car's neatness,you'll certainly want to add more cash,evenif it comes to borrowing cos you won't want to feel you came to Cotonou to waste your time.We also have instances where this agents collect money from customers,come into Cotonou to buy accidented cars,repair them and fly them through bushparts into Nigeria.

When you ask for prices from us,all we have to give you as the customers is anm asking price,which gives you the option of coming to the market,inspect and bargain which we feel is better than you getting a cheap price from us then when you finally show up in Cotonou,we start to dribble you,Sincerely,it's going to make us look like a bunch of rogues who are just out to scam you.

If we give you a price tag of 1.7M,it's because we believe that by the time you finally show up,u can bargain it down to 1.3-1.4-1.5M depending on how clean the vehicle is or how desperate the importer needs money.Instead of telling you it's 1.3M,then when you show up,we start looking for ways to increase the price.

Anything that happens in Cotonou revolves around YOU,if you're not vigilante enough,some scammers will laugh into banks with your hard earned cash and it'll be to your detriment.Old clients who have used our services know all they need to do is send cash for deposit and we go into the market to look for good deals but in the case of new clients,we don't accept cash payments,all we ask you to do is come,if possible with your mechanic,inspect ,bargain and pay for your purchase +custom duty.

That's also one of the reasons why we always encourage our clients to come and pick their vehicles up from the border so that they can verify that we have authentic papers ready for them.

Sir,budget 900k-1.1m for cars 2 and 3.

For car number,the price is still under contention,dues to it's popularity amongst Nigerian buyers,its almost the same amount with the Nigerian price which is 850k.Only one on one bargaining between a customer and car dealers can bring lower prices.

Unlike Nigeria where registration costs 35K,vehicle registration is expensive.To obtain a plate,you'll need almost 150K but there are several temporary plate numbers which you can collect and renew every three monthhs or six months.
