Having carefully gone through the arguments, claims and counter-claims on this thread, it is safe to say that one has been able to get the range of Cotonou clearance regardless of the validity of both parties.

Another thing I can safely say is that all these hidden charges are exactly the reasons why prospective buyers often seek to make their purchases where one can easily "buy & drive". It's just so disheartening that a prospective buyer is made to have sleepless nights just because he/she intends buying a car.
