Thanks to all interns for taking my words last week when I told the house that payment will commence this week and actually june and july backlog was paid along side august. Most interns will be on exit time now congratulation and new one should follow this tread to achive ur best desires. I would soon be on the exit side.

make him understand u are not hired yet, he should accept u on his portal online n ur profile will automatically change to hired

Please When are we expecting our back log. My employer have sent countless form to them and still no payment. Please any idea

Pls house,why is it that interns will submit oustanding stipend claim form (through their employers now) some will be paid,while others will still be praying to God? Pls i'm confused,cos my boss has sent the forms countless times now (coupled with calls) but shit ain't happening.

i can understand ur point. sending of outstanding form seems nt to guarantee automatic payment of unpaid allowance. i have neva been paid since i was sending d form to surep. also calling their cc line too na another wayo wey dem dey use to post person. i dunno d criteria dem dey use to treat such unpaid money but d fact is dt surep is nt fair to all when it comes to payment issue.

I have to make this clear. I have worked hard to help interns get their outstanding payments issue resolved. However, I believe these outstanding payments are perhaps delayed on purpose. Having checked the backend of some of the employers portal, I have come to the following conclusions. 1. Most of the payments have remained outstanding (delayed) not because Timesheets were not promptly and effectively ticked and submitted. 2. The Outstanding Claim sheet submitted by interns and employers are received, documented but most times, ignored. 3. There is a strong believe that maybe (a big maybe) someone is intentionally delaying these payments and creating the outstanding payment problems intentionally. 4. It's a know fact that SURE-P GIS has advised its partners (Employers) not to sign outstanding Claims Sheet for intern(s) who have exited the program - even if they existed with the whole 12 months stipend outstanding. Why is this so? I write this to make it clear that I have kept quiet on outstanding payment issue, not because I don't want to help, I do. In fact, I have been working on the list of outstanding payments that I have correlated, but have been meeting some subtle resistance. Perhaps, you guys would have to make it known to the person(s) in charge collectively that you want your monies. If not, someone may be pocketing all these outstanding payments. Cheers.

Nothing far from truth of what you've rightly posited big boss.When I was in Abuja last month, I saw the guy in-charge of North Central in person and after verifying my complaint from my employer, he opened is backlog file and make me number one on a fresh entry that will be compile for the next payment(recent payment window), but to my surprise, I wasn't paid my backlog only August stipend entered, I was flabbergasted, though sincerely grateful to God that at least one month entered.

So what am saying is that, the issue is far from either sending of claim form or not... these are done consciously by SURE P GIS. I am very sad that lots of people have not even receive August stipend among us here, even a colleague I called this morning told me he hasn't receive his August stipend. SURE-P GIS has been selective as @Puntersmind as rightly alluded with hidden "AGENDA" i guess, and something has to be done quickly, because what is the essence of taking more/new interns when the incumbent have been not properly taking care of.

I will like to suggest that we take to their twitter handle once more to convey our grievances to the Perm. Sec (Finance) so that they can FIX the mess before it get out of hand.

Walk in to the office of Public Complaints Commission nearest to you and its Facebook page to lodge your claims. That was what I did on behalf of my learned colleagues. I exchanged numbers with its Operations Officer for follow-ups until some were fully paid while still pressing for two persons left with half payments.
