bipumpin: I score 177 and ii choose ui as my 1st and 2nd choice to read nursin bt my biology is d7, 4 poly i choose fedilaro as my 1st and yabatech as 2nd choice 2 read science lab bt i read it here dat in yaba dey dnt allow 2nd choice bt nw i was tinkin ao am gng 2 replace it wit anoda poly dat we consider 2nd choice even my university i wish 2 change it cuz ui wnt accept d7 bt av register 4 anoda gce. So pls advice so dat i we no wat 2 do. Tankz waitin 4 ur rplyD7 in biology...... Hmmmmm, i think u can go for information tech in ur 1st choice poly but not Yabatech cos its cut-off is 180 and UI's cut-off is 200 |

Hu tel u say unilorin dey considerd eld,dia is notin lyk dat in unilorin cos dia admsn is all abt luck n connectn Emmy35: Kogi state is part of the elds(educationally less privileged states) which means that your cut-off will be lower than others. How can a school's admission be based on only luck and connections  All federal schools have Merit cut-off, cathment cut-off and elds cut-off. Just because they don't release their cut-off mark doesn't mean they don't have a cut-off mark. |

i scored 187 in the recent jamb. My 1st choice is funai(federal univ ndufu alike ebonyi) sociology.. And my 2nd choice is ANSU(Anambra state univ) political science.. Am frm anambra. ..... Pls what are my chances? |

Your chances are good for Ansu since the cut-off is 180 and u're an indigene but pol sci is now becoming a competitive course oh so buckle up and leave no stone unturned. By d way, State Universities always consider their indigenes first. |

Holyrule: utme score= 223Tsk tsk tsk, sorry but ur score is too low for Mbbs. I would have advised u to change ur course to a less competitve course like Anatomy but the change of course(COC) form has ended, So pls read hard and aim to score high in ur Post-Utme and have an agg lyk 70.2 |

morgan**g:Last year UI used Jamb scores to shortlist its candidates and the cut-off for Pol Sci was 258(if memory serves me well). I read(UI's thread) that UI will invite all those who scored 200+ to write its post-utme though it's not yet confirmed but pray that it's true and start preparing for Post-utme. |

Pls refer to their website to know where u stand. |
