Are there any nairalanders who have everything to be grateful for at the moment?

Obviously the average person has some things working for them while wishing for other things. But, are there people who generally feel fulfilled with their lives?

Examples of fulfilment in my book include:

1. Having a career that you love, work that you wake up everyday in excitement for.
2. A romantic relationship with a perfectly matched partner, or being deliberately and happily single.
3. Financial freedom to pursue all kinds of leisure including travel, seminars/lectures, shopping, etc.
4. The presence of supportive family and friends.
5. Peace of mind.
6.Engaging in ventures that speak to your values (politics, money making, film production, orphanages, anything really).
7. Having landmark personal achievements (such as founding facebook, reaching billionaire status, becoming a bestselling author, discovering the cure for AIDS, etc).
8. Optimum health, vigor and vitality (especially important for older folks).

Some people will only need 1 or 2 items in the list to be happy with life, while some will need almost all. Doesn't matter.

Do you feel like you are there yet? If not, are you working towards reaching this point?

If no to both questions, do you think you will ever attain this? Is it too late for you?

Most people believe that users of social media such as forums are unhappy underachievers but this may just be a stereotype.
