We got these photos from a reader who was detained at that same sharp corner, all because he refused to give him the popular N20 (or i mean N50 as it seems they ‘don port o’ too and have upgraded to N50 now. lol) http://whatsupibadan./2013/05/12/caught-in-the-n20-act/ for more news and trending stuffs in Ibadan 2 Likes |

Tunjman: A leopard can never change its spots you mean our dedicated policemen are leopards? the problem is the system. these men put their lives on the line to protect us and they get paid N15,000 a month. some of them have wives and children. won't they survive? in the middle of this is a fisherman president that spends N1 billion on food alone. 15 Likes |

Honestly, I think Nigerian police needs to come up with an effective strategy to ease out over 80,000 officers and employ fresh graduates who at least have shame and are not reckless. This N20 bribe is disgusting. 2 Likes |

Well, if a police corporal was paid more than 37,000 naira a month, I doubt he would be hustling 50bucks on the street You underpay and under equip them, yet expect them to catch all the armed robbers, and have a smile on their face... I hate the popo...but let's be objective here... 5 Likes |

coogar:They weren't forced to do the job, were they? Small salary is not enough excuse to collect N20. There are a few good ones there receiving the same small salary and are content with it without collecting bribes. If they are not content with their salary, why not resign honourably and go get a job that pays that jumbo salary they desire. 4 Likes |

Poster and others of like mind That is your own problem, criminals like you and yours have no authority to run mouth about anybody. If you dont like what you see in nigeria, then move to ghana or any other country you prefer. South africa is also available and much more developed than nigeria- go away, and dont let the door hit your cursed behinds as you leave. 2 Likes |
