The president of the federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR), by 7 pm today, 14th of may 2013, declared state of emergency in three northern states. The three states include Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states. This was, according to mr. President, necessary because of the recent sercurity challanges in the 3 affected states in particular and northern nigeria in general. Source: federal radio corporation of nigeria. |
