The Islamic terror group, Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for the recent bloody attacks on Baga and Bama Towns, in Borno state, which lover 176 civilians, soldiers, policemen, prison warders were slaughtered.

The Islamist group blamed the Government and the Joint Task force (JTF) for their actions, as they refused to released their arrested members and their families. They accused the JTF for the civilian deaths and the damaged properties.

The group's leader Imam Abubakar Ibn Shekau said that "with the help and direction of Allah, we carried out the attack in Baga and we are also responsible of the attack in Bama.” Imam Shekau speaking in Hausa, in the 12-minute, the group promised that they will cause more havoc in Nigeria.

Regrettable, Iman Shekau’s showed in the video shows women and children detained in what they construed as "in retaliation for the detention by the security agencies of families of Boko Haram sect members".
These women and Children are been held as Human shield by boko haram leadership in the event of JTF attack.

Imam Shekau threatened that "as we are unable to get our children and wives freed, these ones too will not be released and they will be kept in our own detentions.”

The arrested women and Children by Boko haram leadership are kept to wade-off any attack from the army as any of them killed in the crossfire, the terror group through their various sympathetic media outfits will blame the soldiers for attacking civilians as was in the case in Baga.
