History tells us that nowhere did a people seek liberation that they never attain - the black americans, american indians, southern african nations, east timor, south sudan, etc. These should make those who think they own Nigeria shudder and be wise!...in a national conference at least they won't lost all.

South Sudan in mind! Al Bashir never thought it'll happen...there's nothing as certain as a people's liberation and change. Let those who fool themselves continue.

I think the occupancy rate in Century Hotel ,Okota,is getting low. Someone should advise Ogbeni Fred to start hosting "short time" tenants for now.

How can a man fall this low?

You this tribal "igbo" bigot is here again, running your mouth as usual?
How can a "small boy" like you claim to know "Awolowo"?
Which history book did you read or who told you the story?

At the risk of offending friendly Igbos (l was waiting for them to caution you anyway), let me add that
The fact that Awolowo took decisions to DEFEND HIS OWN PEOPLE when that ill-advised "chicken" decided to attack Yoruba-land (instead of directing his war towards the North, HE ATTACKED AS FAR AS OORE, IN ONDO STATE!), does not mean he kissed the ar.se of the Mallam, The Mallam just happens to benefit from such decision.

Only a foolish and idiotic "warrior" tries to fight TWO WARS, ON TWO FRONTS, AT THE SAME TIME!

Go back to 'them' and ask them to tell you the story of "that man" who was whipped-silly by the "acumen" of the same Awolowo, so much he ducked his tail between his legs and ran off to Ivory coast!, leaving his people "desperate and dumbfounded .... grin grin

Or did they not tell you that part of the story?

Abegii, leave matter, just dont go there.

Every riff-raff just wakes up to talk on behalf of the yorubas.Well I don't know when Faseun became the spokesman of the yorubas but I implored him to return whatever money he has collected from jonathan so he won't look foolish to himself in the end.

This is the same person that wanted to create UPN;claiming he wanted to resuscitate Awo legacy. The Awolowo I know won't and never kissed Asses during his lifetime.Whoever listens or takes this clown serious is sitting on a high tension wire.
High tension wire does not electrocute those who know how and where to remove the the FUSE. May God keep us alive by then bro!

nerodenero: Gathering support for Jonathan come 2015 is not bad but Uncle Jona should finish Boko Haram without fear or favour and deliever to Nigerians more dividends of democracy and we wont have to question is credibility.

Nobody should come here to list fighting boko haram as an achievement. They created it in the first as a decoy.

Secondly, we won't vote for GEJ in 2015 - he is corruption personified.
Re: Fasehun Of OPC - 'Nobody Can Stop Jonathan' by Wadeoye(m): 11:04am On May 22, 2013
This old fooool is running crazy... And his situation is getting worse daily. It was UPN resuscitation before and when that failed, the old fool is resorting to open threat and empty chest beating.

Is fasheun planning to use juju on us to make us vote or he wants to put gun on our heads?

We are waiting for him.

Stupid old fool.

It is glaring that gej is giving money to militants across the country. How are sure money is also not going to the north?

was the western region not part of Nigeria then? Is dat not where Lagos the former capital was located? Didnt Awo fight on the Nigerian side ab ignitio?

Do you have a candidate that is better of as we speak?
There needs to be a sovereign national conference first to fix our style of democracy and our porous constitution. How can elections be free and fair if the electoral commission is under the federal government. There's just no working system in Nigeria presently. Very few people will resist the temptation of enriching themselves illegally as the Nigerian system is presently, but it is a system with an effective rule of law and well written constitution that straighten people up. If there was no active rule of law and effective constitution in the western worlds, they'll probably be as corrupt as we are. Smart Nigerians that can lead Nigeria abounds, but there needs to be a system in place that'll prevent the abuse of power.

No, the West was not part of the war ab initio.
Though, as part of an "indivisible Nigeria", our allegiance is and was still to the "Nigerian Flag".
The 'North' was also part of Nigeria, it was the East that wanted to opt-out from Nigeria.
so, how can you "JOIN", what you are already a part?

Ojukwu's Biafra was fighting to secede (rightly so, if we consider the pogroms in the North) but it was foolish and naive to expect that you can co-opt whole Nations (Western Nigeria), very intelligent and moreso, one that is "calm" and devoid of the "Gra-Gra" that is characteristic of Easterners (no pun intended) into war, just because you wanted to be President of your own Biafra!

Since we did not fight on Ojukwu's behalf (and our allegiance is still to the Nigerian flag, as part of Nigeria ab initio), Ojukwu as usual, "goofed and made a cataclysmic miscalculation" when he decided that he must "forcefully draw the West/Yorubas into the fight", by attacking us, starting from Benin/Mid-Western state.

We kept quiet initially but as usual (and this is the "Achilles heel" of the Easterners), they took our "Gentility for Docility" ..... and he got emboldened and kept attacking the West, getting as far as Oore town in Ondo state!

This was when the "mercurial" Awolowo decided that Enough is Enough, and stung him and his rag-tag army, endlessly ala Scorpion-style!

Now, this is the part of your history most of you who say Yorubas are cowards, dont know or stubbornly fail to acknowledge!
We did what we had to do (under Awolowo's Able leadership, which you can contrast with Ojukwus tepid and timid leadership that took his people to slaughter!).. to defend ourselves from unprovoked attack.
Anyone would have done the same, if attacked.

Having said that, we Westerners see ourselves as "professionals", we dont harbor grudge (unlike your people who are still hoping for revenge, after five decades!) and we address issues from a non-emotional, business-like, point of view.

You "play" with us, we play with you.
You fight us, we warn you first and deal severely with you, if you dont desist, going forward! wink wink ...But we will never attack you first.
"Senseless aggressiveness" is not in our DNA! Call us cowards for that? Nothing spoil!
kiss kiss

Most of you were not even born when this things were happening and unfortunately, you were fed "gobshyte stories" by yours-truly, who wanted to "play the victim"! grin grin ....using Yorubas as their stepping stone!

i cant convince u further. That Benin ore axis, is dat not d same route Nigerian soldiers used to enter Asaba?

Thank God u said most of us werent born those days when awo licked the asses of d mallam and was dumped. Wat abt now ,at least, am a witness to the group of southerners that are licking northern asses to produce a northern president after all buhari n kaita said in 2011.

yorubas are wat they are, cowards. Like i said, read more abt british aid to d nigerian side

and scrap dat yorubas are professional nonsense cos i have not seen any innovation brought abt by yorubas in dis country. No technological move , no nothing. U ppl still get intimidated by the mere presence of an easterner.
U dont bear grudges my foot!
