Smuthx: Your nysc no should be NYSC/state you are posted to/school you attended/....eg NYSC/AD/UNN/12/4687. All these info should be on your certificate. Day and month of duration of your service year is also there on your certificate.

You made your application and payment during a very brief period some time before the Monday commencement date when the website was being tested and before the advertisement went out. I'll be sending you a private message on how the problem can be solved if you don't mind.

I strongly believe, the advertisment is real,because my elder sister who works for NIS Abuja, personally sent the link to me, though i am yet to apply given some vague details via the site, but am sure it will be taken care of asap. By the way @Chick girl, most employers who seek NYSC number assume that you must have completed your Nysc; ergo, seek that you provide it, and i can tell you for free that without the number, the form you fill will not move to the next page and so on. The number on the top right of the certificate is your nysc number. Look out for it. Stay blessed all!
