J12:

What kind of education system do we have in Nigeria that would warrant a Ph.D holder to stoop so low and apply for semi-menial jobs like these? First it was dangote trucks, now this.
Our education system is in a serious mess

You got caught up in ACN's propaganda. What they are trying to paint is dt no job for masters and phd in Jonathan;s administration. Though true but this approach is pathetic.

Why are Nigerians gullible. Enough of all these deception by our leaders. What happen to population census? Why can't they plan with the result of population census? This is an effort in futility as far as I am concern, it a way of wasting tax payers money. It was said that, any registered person(s) will be given a card, which will gives him access to health, transportation and other benefit. Will all these be free? A government that constructed road with tax payer money and toll d road, is promising health care and transportation. If everyone in Lagos is registered, will it connote free health care, transportation and what aview. Fashola is doing nothing in this is second tenure, let's not deceive ourselves. He knows very well that he will not even will d post of a sanetor, talk more of a president. You are saying unemployment rate is high, Fashola contributed to it. Go and ask the Okada riders Association, the self employed whose shops were broken and some other business that pays huge taxes.

dumb plan! I mean shouldn't this be done at local council/ward level? With a population of an estimated 20 million residents, how long will it take 600 or so staff to register them all...(even if they all graduates, Ph.ds' and Masters ) tongue tongue I'll give you a guess!! Fashola and his ilk don't know maths..lool

As the government embarks upon this policy, let all officials of the government, reveal to the public all details of their status. Where they come from, how many children they have, their names, schools attending and attended, bank account numbers, email address, their home addresses. Government must also be transparent in all its facets to promote mutual co-existence. They are not Gods, the are mare human beings to be seen as such for where a people fear their government, there is Tyranny. Then if they refuse to do this, then this scheme becomes another form of control and slavery, intruding into the privacy of individuals. Let a lie be treated as what it is as lie, regardless of the source..for when a government lies is termed politics but the people lie,it is felony.

Nice Gov.Fashola. ** Way to go**. That's how they do it in all developed cities of the world. A responsible govt will not think twice about carrying out this exercise. But unfortunately, because of govt allocation, there's deception everywhere.

I'm waiting for all you guys 'making mouths' to dare the Lagos state govt by not registering and see if you won't face the music. A stitch in time they say, saves nine. The Lagos of y/day is different from that of today. And listen good **whispering**, "other SW states are to follow suit fron next year".
