It is very unfortunate that Soyinka hasn't been able to reconcile the moral burden he carries as a rebel who introduced cultism within the boundaries of Nigeria; an invention poorly managed that has given birth to many other sources of annoyance and nuisance to our society.

The actors in ongoing fracas in Rivers state of Nigeria are one way or the other associated to the social ill that Soyinka brought upon this land. From Ameachi to Chidi Lloyds and others are speculated to be members of one cult group or another. The question is: what moral grounds does Wole Soyinka have to moralize Nigerians on what is right or wrong?

People die everyday from cult related activities, musicians, students, business men and politicians because of illy thought out social vise; invented to fight the government of the day in the days of Soyinka as a young activist. Where are we today?

Soyinka should please note that the legislator who is in a coma today may die from the effect of man's brutality against man; driven by nonsensical ego trip by people born by women. Upon his death (God forbid), his blood and all other blood spilled in the name of fraternal affiliations will inevitably rest on the head of the father of cult related activities (Wole Soyinka). Him and his generations living and yet unborn will share the curses coming from families that have felt the pains of violence derived from cult fed egos.

Thus unguided utterances at his age considering the burden he carries demonstrate a high level of unrepentance and incorrigibility.

When you cast a stone on a glass house, you may be the emerging crack from it. I resent this man for indirectly talking down on the office of the Presidency.

So you are not aware that your grand father started cultism in Nigeria? Asking questions you already have answers to.

Absolutely true. The only remarkable thing he brought to this land is destruction. You cannot disguise under eloquence and word inventions and live in denial of what you are responsible for. Don't forget this man served under Ibb's regime. All holy Soyinka.

Garri the 1st... Agbaya dey smell follow you. Haven't you noticed that Soyinka has aged since then. Senility at his age is tolerable because we will all get there by God's grace. Those managing Soyinka are not doing a good job because he ought to have been guided.

It has become increasingly obvious that your people enjoy talking others down for reasons beyond me. I thought it was with your generation alone but Soyinka just demonstrated that level of judgment

@ op,it's clear that u're not being objective.u hv let ur bias for GEJ hv a better part of u.Yeah,WS started a group meant for the articulation of students' grievances, which later metamorphosed into something else totally independent of him.Such hs been repeated frequently in history. The blame should be on those who weren't mature enough to carry on the tradition in a civil manner.I know u know this n hv prolly defended the prof in time past, but nw u're letting the hurt, hate n prejudice within u make u spit out visceral garbage.Clear ur mind of prejudice n hate.Let proper ratiocination rule.

@OP,do me a favor and just shut up there! Clean ur mind of bias and prejudice! Abi them don bribe u to the support GEJ ni? You know the facts. The cult group Prof.Soyinka started back then isn't the same that you have today. The cultists, driven by ego, pride,et al,have change the original purpose for which Wole Soyinka started cult group. Cultism as it is today,is a far cry from what it was during the Professor's time. Stop being biased and prejudiced for once!

Ni bend your mouth... If you understand ENGLISH you probably would have read that his concept of fraternity was poorly managed, thus it gave birth to many others. Quick to defend your master but blinded to the facts.

When it comes to leadership, we have had the good the bad and the ugly. Whether those in govt are listening or not, Nigerians have always spoken their mind.

The Jonathan Government will be remembered as the infamous even notorious govt that created and funded a whole ministry to prevent Nigerians from speaking their mind in chat rooms using tax payers money. This is happening after Jonathan sought popularity on fbk but was promptly chased out when Nigerians realized he is a joke.

He should take responsibilities for his actions as he apportion blames. Cowards! Your leader will poison himself one day just like Awo did for his treacherous back door activities... Being two faced is an obvious weakness and for you to carry that burden and defend it is pathetic. Soyinka does not have the moral standing to call anybody out o any issue in Nigeria because he failed when he had the chance to do anything. I will personally start a valid petition to have his Nobel prize withdrawn. He will die in shame.

Who is your pay master that seek to discredit Jonathan? You think you represent a fraction of voters in Nigeria? I am a voter who does not need to be paid to ask you to show common sense when criticizing another. When you seek to demean my opinion as a Nigerian, I reserve all rights to put things into the right perspective whether you take it or not. I don't need to be paid to do so. Tax payers money? What has Tinubu and Fashola done with all the taxes I have paid in lagos forced off my throat.
