Are you sure you read the corresponding comments before quoting me? The argument with him was; he said Messi played the second leg match against Bayern, and I corrected him that he didn't play. So, try to comprehend before commenting okay?

Messi is the best among the rest. He should win. Ronaldo is good but not to be compared with Messi for now.

I agree Ribery did well last season, but frankly the success of Bayern depended upon team work rather than individual performances.

Team achievements have been sacrificed because of individual stats! I was really happy Platini took the bait and kept the Spanish teams apart with the pipedream of an El clasico final even after failing last season! You know no matter what you say, not everybody will love messi or admit he's the greatest, right? We've heard it before, Messi can't function without Xavi & Iniesta, Ronaldo is far better than Messi, Barcelona is a one man team, a Chelsea player should win the award because they won the UCL et al, but at the end Messi outshines them all. Just let it play out.

If that is the case in what you are saying, why didn't Wesley Sneijder win it in 2010 he was the main man at inter when they won the the treble and he dragged Holland to the World Cup final but yet Messi won it that year, don't get me wrong messi is a unbelievable player but seems FIFA change the

Awe gbagbe! Barca has dropped down a few notches since 2011! I can confidently say that over the last two seasons it has been a very one-dimensional team

Everything at Barca revolves round Messi which is why we can see considerable dropoffs in any major tournament that is also why Messi can go to a world cup and not score a single goal for the Albiceleste and also flop at the Copa America in his own homeland

We realized the one player scoring 40+ goals per season thing is not the formula for success (look up Gomez) we finished trophyless with a one man offense
