Why we Northerners appear to be crying more than the bereaved an x-ray of political position paints a very different picture

Vice President -North. **Senate President -North. **Speaker House of Reps - North. **PDP National Chairman - North. **Head of Service - North.**INEC Chairman - North.**Inspector General of Police - North.**CBN Governor - North.**Chief Justice of federation - North.**President Court of Appeal - North.**EFCC Chairman - North.**President Federal high court - North.**National Security Adviser - North.**Chief of Defence Staff - North.**Controller, Customs Service - North.**Controller Prison Services - North.**Richest man in Africa - North.**85% of Petroleum Marketers in Nigeria - Northerners. **80% of Oil Block Owners in Nigeria - Northerners. **95% of beggars in Nigeria - Northerners **. Yet, the Poorest states in Nigeria and Educationally backward areas in Nigeria are in the North. For the almost 4 decades we led this country we had nothing to show for it . Clearly the cry of marginalisation is false , and if for any reason the presidency is to shift to the North under any guise then it should be the turn of the Non hausa/ Fulani people of the north especially the Middle belt.

You can tell this thread was not created by a Northerner.

Considering that Northerners do not use this website, and will not be here in enough numbers to properly embarrass you, I suggest you hang your head in shame and delete this trash.

Most people have a pretty good idea of where you REALLY come from though. And you are just making your brothers look bad.

Why don't you address the issue raised by the op than attacking his person.
I can't just understand the north fixation on power...
The introduced mediocrity and destroyed this country with their clueless, conservative and islamic centered approach to issues in our national Life.
NO NORTHERN PRESIDENT FOR NEXT 30 YEARS TILL WE HAVE SANITISED THE SYSTEM.

^^^^^^^^^

Who in the North is fixated on power?

Just because your entire region has given up on leading the country. Just because your region has no leaders that can win an election. Just because your region is too ashamed of its leaders to even consider promoting them for election. Just because your region is comfortable taking the back seat in PDP, does not mean that other politically active regions are power hungry. It means they are intelligent and ambitious. Clearly their way of politics has helped them win. Face your leaders.

Is the North stopping you from building the Second NIger bridge?

some of you people think with your anus. The northern part of Nigeria incorporate so many diverse ethnic groups. ethnic groups like Hausa, Kanuri, Fulani, Tiv, Jukun, Egbira, etc.

will it be apt to term the Yorubas and Igbos, Ijaws and itshekiris, the Benins and the Ibibios, the Efik and the Urhobos as southern people? Nigeria is divided into six geo political zone. so therefore, thos positions mentioned above are spread all across the 3 geo-political zones of the north.

the southern part of Nigeria also have The president, deputy senate president, deputy speaker, minister of petroleum, cordinating minister of the economy, chief of army staff, and so many array of agencies and parastatals headed by the southerners.

The South East has demonstrated that they are incompetent to head this country as demonstrated by their history of corruption in the Senate Presidency from 1999 to 2007. The senate presidents from that part of the country: Evans Enwerem, Chuba Okadigbo and Adulphus Wabara, all lost their seats because they were corrupt. I remember a northern delegate during the 2006 Sovereign National Conference saying if the SE could not maintain the position of Senate Presidency, they should forget about producing the president of Nigeria.

@op, before you go about dancing in your ignorance try to get certain things straight;
The term "north" is not a tribe, the VP is hausa, the senate president is idoma, the speaker is fulani more like saying yoruba, igbo and efik!!
The middle belt has no claim to anything, as they have produced Ibb, Adusalami and Gowon!! There has never been a core northern senate president, whereas the middle belt has had Ayu, Ebute and Mark, the middle belt has had the most service chiefs; Malu,Akahaan,Danjuma, chris Ali,domkat bali, alfa, wuyep, ibb, abdulsalami, agwai etc.
Since the north occupies the positions you listed, kindly help us in identifying the region that occupies the following;
President
Deputy senate president
Deputy speaker
Secreatry to the govt
Chief of army staff
Chief of naval staff
Chief of defence staff
Minister of finance
Minister of petroleum
Minister of aviation
Minister of foreign affairs
Dg sss
Cg immigration
Cg nscdc
Chairman icpc
Dg pencom
Dg sec
Dg bpe
Chairman nerc
Chief of staff
. . . . . . . .Dude I could go on wink
