Collect your change from your secondary school. The mathematics teachers' efforts were in vain.
Your WAEC result should be reissued, noting the refunds therefrom....

1.5 billion naira is 100 million dollars, the wedding was done in the US with so many commissioners and aides in attendance so money was spent over there in dollars so it is possible. I'm not saying he did.

It sounds as if that amount was really spent. Its unfortunate that corruption has cost us alot and is yet to cost more. Its no longer news that these few are carrying naija money. The masses are powerless so u can only hear and talk under the pillows
Re: Controversy Over Al-makura’s Son’s Alleged N1.5B Wedding In U.S. by agabaI23(m): 10:24pm On Aug 24, 2013
That money was not spent in naira, it was spent in dollars.
If Sam Egwu spent N120 m to celebrate wedding anniversary in Nigeria, I think it is possible to spend something close to N1.5B in the US.

First check the number of people that attended from Nigeria who flew first class
Think about the 5* hotel accommodation even if it is principle.
Check the gifts they are given
They probably locked down a mansion at a high end neighbourhood

That amount is in the neighboughhood of $9m. Someone was caught at the airport with $3 m meant for a certain governor from the South.

Nigerian leaders are extravangant. I can believe thatn but that money is too much sha grin grin
Re: Controversy Over Al-makura’s Son’s Alleged N1.5B Wedding In U.S. by Omotolaaraujo(f): 11:23pm On Aug 24, 2013
Not even wealthy Americans spend that much on weddings. The figure is wrong.
Re: Controversy Over Al-makura’s Son’s Alleged N1.5B Wedding In U.S. by talktimi(m): 11:32pm On Aug 24, 2013
Its clear the governor celebrated his sons wedding ceremony in America but come on you guys, do you think its easy to blow such a crazy amount in one day just for a wedding in America? Not naira o, we're talking about a currency with value not cfa. The question should be did he use state resources for his private engagements ? And from there the state house of assembly should initiate an unbiased investigation because that state is too impoverished for that type of squandermania.

Debroslink:
Simple maths you no sabi.tsceeew...
1.5b = 999 million + 501 million.

However, nothing is impossible when it comes to Nigerian politicians spending dollars in yankee

Don't mind the Nigerian recent graduate

If this story is true, then,we're stil rulling by cruelty leaders. I would never have or buy idea of spending that huge money on wedding alone where the masses are dying and crying for help every moment! Very despeakable and outrageous...
