I happen to gather that the need to assume that the speed of light is constant is why the expansion of space was proposed to explain the huge redshift seen from certain galaxies and quasar, that doesn't make it (space expansion) less absurd, I have no problems with constants though I know they are arbitrated for given assumptions eg Hubble's constant and the cosmological constant.

Because they have no proof of their divine origins and because the religions have numerous moral failings, like the fact that slavery and pedophilia are perfectly legal in both religions.
