gtrust: You mean he does God forbids, but you will not remember the cell number within 10 minutes of hearing such news, especially when the callers are people not known for joke in the first place. |
Re: Obasanjo Affected By Gbenga's Rumoured Death by Jarus(m): 7:46am On Oct 04, 2013 |
OBJ and Gbenga are not best of friends (recall Gbenga accused him of sleeping with his wife), but no matter how bad your relationship with your son is, father will rremain father - strong natural affection for his children. |

gtrust: You mean he does not have the son's cell phone numberWon't be surprised if he does not. Gbenga accused baba of dancing Kerewa his wifey years back so no love lost between them I suppose. |

solidhomes: I thought this also. Nairalanders are always keen to give interpretations, however erroneous or ludicrous such is, that confirm their own personal conviction rather than what is upheld by the reportage. Even in the article we gain suggestion that OBJ went somewhere private to speak to his son through a phone call and confirmed his well-being. Yet one cannot mitigate for sentimental and superstitious Nigerians who are always keen to defy logic and what is clearly illustrated in black and white to deliver their own personalised and emotion-tainted views. Holding the hands of his friend, Prof. Akin Mabogunje, they went straight into a room within the Library complex where they spent almost one hour. 1 Like |

".....beokuta – Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was depressed ,Thursday, immediately he received the rumoured news that his son, Gbenga, was among the victims who died when the Akure-bound Chattered Associated Airline crashed in Lagos...." Why are all the Newspapers unable to spell the word "chartered" properly? To charter - is to hire a plane or a boat. To chatter - is to talk quickly and contuously about unimportant issues. 1 Like |

Olusegun Mimiko Governor 2009-02 Labour Nigerians see demon in everything and overtly superstitious. The ignorant poster want us to believe the rubbish she posted and still stood her ground that it is a fact even when people disputed this rubbish. This same post is being repeatedly posted in other similar threads on NL. The poster wants us to believe the state house is jinxed and needs deliverance Nigerians see demons in everything, from the cloths, hairdo, electronic gadgets, books, etc. Imagine a pastor saying Boeing 737 airplane engine is built with witchcraft therefore his members should not fly in it?? From the record, of all the 17 former governors of Ondo State , only 4 are dead and 2 died while their predecessors were still in office. Adefarati died at the age of 76, so what is the news about that in country with life span of less than 50. Agagu who was the immediate former governor died at 65. Ajasin died in 1997, was he buried while Otiko was in office? Was Otiko buried while Akhighe was in the office. Were Olumilua, Rasaki, Usman and others buried by their predecessors. Total rubbish and fabrication. We just like to peddle gossip, lies and rumours. Or are you the agent of deliverance ministers, may be we soon see Segun Mimiko on TV doing deliverance as Jim did few days ago. The moderator should remove false information post. 2 Likes |
