Mine happens to be on the 12-06-2008 when I lost my uncle and his first son (both barristers) in a ghastly motor accident along Ewu/Agbede road in Edo state. They were burnt beyond recognition. The most saddest of all is that, we got to know three days after the incident. Its was really tragic indeed because it sent my whole village into mourning for several months even till now. I still miss them real bad whenever I think of them. |

I can't stand this thread.It breaks my heart.Mine was two friends,one died this year January and the other one in July.I still can't get over their deaths.Continue to rest in the Lord,Debbie and Fayokemi. |

The death of my Aunty! She died after giving birth...her blood pressure was so high,...and the Doctor section her for delivery and she couldn't make it...her last statement was where's my baby?...and gave up....she was still with me a day before the incident...planning how the naming will look like been her first son...never knew I won't see her again...terrible experience,but we thank God we have the baby and he's growing so fast!who are we to question God?...RIP TAIWO AKINJOBI 2 Likes |

My aunt chidiebere. She was so young and vibrant. As I watched her succumb to illness and turn gaunt and ravaged by the illness,it took something away from me Each visit and I couldn't believe it was her.lying there.all skin and bones. I can't get over it easily.and even when my folks refrain from talking about it,I know it's eaten deep into everyone's emotions.especially mine. She was so sweet  May she R.I.P |

March 3rd 2012 was a black day for me, my mum had ulcer, was taken treatment in hospital then, l left to go and prepare food for her, she said l should go and take care of my child but that l should come the following day with pounded yam and vegetable soup, left the hospital around 6pm in the evening only to be called by exactly 8:15 that she is dead, hoooo its just as if the whole world collapsed on me. I lost a friend and I'm yet to find someone like her. She's like A̶̲̥̅ sister to me, A̶̲̥̅ Law Student @ Unilorin. She had typhoid, was admitted and......Anthonia Toyin Adeola Olarewaju continue to rest in peace. I still miss you very much. |

Olawunmi was so full of lyf...u've got d brightest smile i ave ever seen....died of sickle cell anaemia complications....u are so full of life and adventure.....u came bk frm Ghana u jux died.....i will always remember u.. I lost my frnd sm yrs back, can't rememba d yr again also my mum's younger sister in 2003 and just 2wks ago, sept 19, 2013 I lost my mum's elder sister while my grandma is alive. May the souls of d departed rest in peace. |

7 March 2012... The call came in around 632am. That I lost my dad, it was so shocking cos he called me a night before... All I heard in the morning was he never woke up ..... No traces of sicknesses. I miss him |

My mum, she died this year. The last time i saw her was at the airport where she escorted me to as i was leaving the country for studies last year, we talked on phone throughout until she died of a heart attack. She was healthy before then and had even gone for an outing hours to her time of death. My only consolation is that i had a revelation that she made heaven. For me it was my younger brother whom i love so much, he was a final year student of Civil ENGINEERing at kwara poly, his colleque will have there p.o.p nezt week he died in gastly motor accident. it was so painful may Allah over look his shortcoming and admit him to jannat fridaos amin suman amin. 4 Likes |

My dad died after i fed him, he died of cancer 3 yrs ago. I can never forget the way he gave up, the memory is still fresh and i miss him much |

Hmm, the death of my elder sister, Aunty Maria. It was just so painful. She died barely 3 months after her wedding on 26th Jan 2011. No child to take back her place. My big sister was just more than a mom to me. I wish I could pay her for all the stress she went through each time I was sick. I still see her in my dream daily. The wound is just still fresh. That would be the death of my sister in 1999. She died with a 34-weeks pregnancy. I was in her house till around 6pm on that Sunday, before i left for evening mass, and she was hale and hearty, only to be woken up by 2am on Monday that she had died. 2 Likes |
