I said I am far more intelligent than you are which is not hard to achieve considering you do something which every averagely intelligent person would have the thinking capacity not to do i.e speak decisively on a specialist area you know nothing about which host many legitimate variables that can impact on cost spectacularly.

Check the archives here to not that for all my criticism of the PDP, I don't even cross that line when it comes to costing of project because I have the basic intelligence to know I cannot speak decisively, either way, unless I see specific details of costing. If that is not available, and whatever my instinct, I simply say nothing rather than be calling others namely uncouthly over what is effectively my own guesswork.

on average, a 5-passenger saloon car will consume 1 ltr of fuel to transport 5 people from point A to point B
similarly, an 18-passenger bus will consume 1 ltr of fuel to transport 18 people from point A to point B

the distance from point A and point B is 9km

Let us assume 1 ltr of fuel cost is N100

That means it will cost us N20 per person from point A to point B using the saloon car
And it will cost us N5.60k per per person from point A to point B using the bus

now that we know that it costs N5.60k per person by using a bus, do you now advice every family that own a saloon car to get a bus instead?

Doing the calculations: $201= N32,179,155,300 at the exchange rate of $1 :N160
hence 32,179155300/140 =N 229,851,109

Conclusion Bauchi will spend N229 million per MW of electricity which is closer to the FG N260 million per MW.
comparing that with lagos state N400 million per MW then you see the level of corruption in that state
like i said stop condoning corruption the fact that you are from Lagos does not mean you cant be objective in your views! when you see corruption anywhere point it out irrespective of whose ox is gored.

If this does not strike anyone as placing the state in economic slavery by its corrupt state administrators then nothing will if 42% of the total 3.2billion contract sum went into the pocket of the corrupt officials then,

i will not be supprised if tomorrow we discover that the cost of Gas supplied to the 10MW plant in lagos is 42% more expensive than the one supplied to similar plants across the country.

I will equally not be suprised if we find out that the adminstrative cost of the 10MW plant is also 42% higher than what is obtainable anywhere else.

The 42% markup will be the amount that goes in the pocket of the corrupt state officials.

This is simply outrageous and every right thinking Nigerian should be appaled by this corruption by our public officials that might end up strangulating all of us.
