bro international students mostly get admitted in falls(august) ndd spring(january).

Summer is for Americans, wat i think though.

U can only apply for 2014 fall admission now, after u tk ur toefl nd sat.

Yes u cn get scholarships through ur sat, u hv to apply when processing ur admission... Other scholarships/grants r given to students smtimes without applying.

So prepare for ur exams nw so dat u r done with both by around april, then u cn apply to schl early.

Peace.

Thanks for the quality info, I appreciate it bro..one last thing pls can u advice me of good schools that offer sat in 9j..I no wan go backyard school..Abeg help ur guy..thx bro

VO: so how did you know about this school?
ME: I came across an article while In my final year of high school during one of the red cross and first aid society meetings of which I am a member with the topic HCC AND MY NURSING DREAM by fresh student of Houston community college then by name adaeze Bianca nwokem after going through this article it caught my curiosity and went into an extensive research for this school through the internet where I applied some websites like the usnews.com collegeboard.com and even the applytexas.org [color=#000099:
Good Answer!![/color]

VO: why did you choose this course?
ME: as a child I have always loved taking care of people showing people love catering for people and lending help to the aged sick injured and helpless. I had always wanted to be all this and the only course that will guide me better with more professionalism, technicality and more exposure on this my childhood dreams and ambition will be nursing so now am grown up ready to choose a future it will be definitely a future in the nursing career
VO: what will this course do for you after your study?
ME: it will help me in rendering better and more superb humanitarian services in my country Nigeria and also set an example for the future generation and also inculcate the technicality of the course in my country Nigeria with better exposure to yield a tremendous outcome thereby bringing about a better change in the health care sector in general. For the love of everything holy scrap this answer. The VOs have heard this answer a million times and it is really not valid. Think about something more specific like how there is a scarcity of trained specialist nurses in Nigeria and the ratio of specialist nurses to patients is 1:100,000 which is far below the global standard. How you plan to fill this void by working in one of the big specialist hospitals.
VO: what do you plan to do after your studies in the U.S?
ME: I will return to do my compulsory one year community service for my country which is known as the N.Y.S.C and after that I will use my certificate to get myself a good job where I can have job satisfaction and be able to use my knowledge, technicality and exposure that I acquired abroad to influence the people around me and the health sector I find myself and also render humanitarian service. Same problem here be more specific as your answer is too general and says nothing about what you really want to do

@kizzykingz if you follow this script, you would have a 5% chance of getting a visa(except say Baba GOD decides otherwise). As everybody else has said please scrap the community college idea. Then your reason for choosing the school/course is too general. Have SPECIFIC reasons why you chose this particular school like the following reasons below
1. You spoke with a professor and his area of research is something that you are very interested in (dont be afraid to get technical here)
2. The course the school offers has an area of specialization that you are interested in and want to specialize in. (You could add that this area of specialization is in great demand in Naija etc)
Basically look out for something UNIQUE about the school and not some generic crammed answer. It proves that you did your research and that you are a serious student. Also please work on your home ties as it seems to be lacking and VOs deny applicants visas because of weak home ties.
I like the fact that you are preparing well for the interview but you seriously have to work on your answers. Please read the whole of thread 4 from the beginning and thread 5 as well in order to prepare properly.

Best of luck Bro!!!

well i dont know much about the school but your friend ds160 confimation can be retrieve and print out only if your friend sister can send the ds160 code with security question to him since ur friend knew the first 5 letter of his surname and your friend can go to the ds160 website to retrieve the confirmation page and print it out.

If you cant follow what i typed above, maybe you should follow what Amefrica said!

Bro lets thank God!

If he will change school that means he will apply for fall admission which is early next year and he would have much time to read this thread and learn alot by himself and he wont pay for any visa fee again or sevis fee again cos its valid for a year, all he will have to transfer the fee to his new university sevis id number
