You had the chance to be the "bigger" person here and lead your future wife in the right direction. She made a mistake (intentional or otherwise) and instead of you guys working it out and being better for it you are more interested in tossing out your principles so as not to be seen as an ode.

I thought you said you were a good christian? Does that mean you faithfully follow the teachings of Christ or you attend church regularly?
