Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by madamkoko: 1:31am On Jul 09, 2008 |
ahn ahn , no now. I've dated a guy who's very book smart. He was additional help when time for assignments came. Very helpful. In fact, I think he's good marriage material because he would be more likely not to cheat, he'll just stay home et. al. Though lacked street smarts in everyway possible, i'm surprised though because he's spent of his time in Nigeria. I know Nigerian men have a lot of things under thier sleeves But I think that not all men have the total package, so sometimes sha, its good if couples can balance each other out. Somethings are just oblivious to some people. |

madamkoko: U won't be happy if he gets fleeced off $1,000,000 by cheap fraudsters. |

Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by jaquan(m): 1:39am On Jul 09, 2008 |
if i had to choose one, i will pick book smart over street smart. reason being that one can be tutored on how to be street smart. |
Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by madamkoko: 1:40am On Jul 09, 2008 |
I think that Common sense and Street Smarts are two different things. I'm not sure what the difference is, but i know they're two different definitions. |
Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by madamkoko: 1:41am On Jul 09, 2008 |
@ jaquan I agreet to an extent. But I think that street smarts is better learned thru experience. |
Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by jaquan(m): 1:47am On Jul 09, 2008 |
@madamkoko true talk. But street smarts hardly puts food on the table. but book smarts definetely does and i am speaking from experience. |

Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by madamkoko: 2:03am On Jul 09, 2008 |
I think that women sometimes find men who are book smart BORING. SO lots of men who are book smart, don't start getting marriage options until after théy've made wealth. Sorry to say but most men who are book smart are not the most attractive/they don't dress well/don't have much social skills until later in life. Pls correct me if i'm wrong. |

Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by CH3COO(m): 2:12am On Jul 09, 2008 |
madamkoko:I was beginning to agree with you up until I read your comment about unattractive, whatever. You're confusing them with nerds don't you think? It's good to have both. |
Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by iice(f): 4:12am On Jul 09, 2008 |
Both! |
Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by NegroNtns(m): 6:33am On Jul 09, 2008 |
Definitely book smart! Let me handle the street, please. I think some of the men that want street smartness in their women will change their minds if they knew the skills that qualify a woman as street smart. I can mess around with a street smart woman at arm's length, but no I dont want one for a wife and closeup under me like that. |
Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by Sagamite(m): 7:49am On Jul 09, 2008 |
jaquan: Are you joking? You can NOT be tutored on street smartness that is an innate ability, they don't teach it in university. That is what differentiates Leaders from Managers. Natural leaders have an innate street smartness. Managers are those you can train and teach to be pseudo-leaders, relying on formal process to learn how to be smart. Mandela - Leader Kofi Annan - Manager Jose Mourinho - Leader Steve McLaren - Manager Jay-Z - Leader Tony Yayo - Fool 1 Like |

Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by spikedcylinder: 10:43am On Jul 09, 2008 |
If i had to choose one, it would definately be BOOK SMART because experience and crazy people would force one to become street smart. madamkoko: Now, that is a terrible, terrible sweeping generalisation! |
Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by spikedcylinder: 10:49am On Jul 09, 2008 |
Sagamite: ROTFLMAO!!! |
Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by Gamine(f): 11:05am On Jul 09, 2008 |

Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by eldee(m): 11:45am On Jul 09, 2008 |
I'll choose streetsmart any day, if I had to choose one When Ms Streetsmart has to meet an accountant tomorrow She studies everything she needs to hold a conversation with him, I get the good deal She can hold an interesting conversation with people of all trades Streetsmart people get the booksmarts to do the jobs for them Take a look at M.K.O's boardroom and see what I'm saying The world has stopped looking for booksmart people now |
Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by syren: 11:54am On Jul 09, 2008 |
eldee: Really, says who? the world will always need booksmart people, being street smart is also an advantage so if you have both, then youv'e made it. |
Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by Gamine(f): 12:02pm On Jul 09, 2008 |
@Eldee, Plsssss The Streetsmart cannot do without Books. So, you cant cancel out the Bookies |

Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by Geniall: 12:10pm On Jul 09, 2008 |
Acetate anion. Aren't you missing something? You're an anomaly that cannot exist in isolation and nothing more than a convenience - a figment of the imagination. You should be a salt. Go find yourself a cation somewhere. Of course the best mix is both, but if I had to choose, I'd choose a bookie with a hyperactive imagination. That'll beat streetsmarts everytime. |
Re: Book Smart Or Street Smart by eldee(m): 12:16pm On Jul 09, 2008 |
syren:Yeah . . . they still need 'em but not like before That's why universities have braod internship programs, student unions, campuses, to enlighten you about what you need to survive in the outside world That's why sumone that studied Pharmacology can now work as an accountant A streetsmart person will master any field in one month Gamine:The fact that you read books does not make you booksmart A booksmart person has commited almost half of his life to studying one thing He knows everything about that one thing A streetsmart person tries knows one thing about everything |
