HTC desire HD also known as G10 is a 3G (HSDPA 900 / 2100) enabled fone. Kindly check gsmarena to confirm this. What I meant was someone wit a Nokia fone on d same mtn network has 3G. While mine is not changing to 3G after unticking 2G

i dunno maybe it true thou buh gsmarena use to Bleep up smetimes, e.g dy can write sme fone r nt upgradable bt wch dy can, by d way did u unlock bootloader b4 flashing d rom?

I do have H+ on my fone b4 upgrade . As to d info on gsmarena I think it's correct to an extent cos there is no official upgrade for HTC G10. Yeah, D bootloader was unlocked

since u r running froyo visionary shuld work it didnt require pc and u can also srsroot method it requires p.c

go to your dialer
dial *#*#4636#*#*
it should open a test menu. select phone status. scroll to a drop menu where there are different options for network modes. I.e, 4g, wcdma, cdma, edge, etc. select WCDMA ONLY. that should work.

After it restart it gives an error report that the phone has just recovered from abnormal system reset. it will ask if I would like to tell HTC. Initially it happens once or twice a day but now it occurs more. Many times now it switches off while receiving calls or when I have just finished receiving calls. Pls what should I do to rectify it. The phone is not rooted.
