very correct . If you look critically from the left side you probably gonn see head of a horse, of which the frog in view head is serving as the nose/mouth of the horse.

For the square boxes, the answer is actually 40. You can form 4 new squares by using A 3 x 3 small square boxes. I also missed them out at first count.
