The rate of unemployment in this country is worrison, day after day people enter into the already crowded labour market.
I want to say that the major reason for this is traceable to greed display by the rich and mighty in the society(majority of which are our public office holder).
Since the "money bags" of our country is mostly with the public office holders, lets make it mandatory for every public office holder to set up factories/companies that will employ a certain number of people during his tenure in office.
For example: after two year in office a senator must have created jobs for a hundred nigerians(from his personal salary) or considered his appointment terminate, a member of the state house of assembly should have 50 workers in his payroll within that duration, i.e the higher the position the more number of citizen a public office holder should employ. This will make our leaders to invest in the economy and enable the circulation of our nations resource.
I see this as the ultimate solution to lack of industries in Nigeria and eventually the solution to unemployment in the nation. What do you think?
