I don't know the section to post this but I believe the MOD should be able to help me move it to the appropriate section. Who should not be forgiven a thief or a rapist because it seems people take thieves serious dat wen they catch one they deal with them ruthlessly but when they catch a rapist they let them go free while blaming d victim. People complain about the goods thieves stole from them while looking down on rape victim's whose dignity was stolen. Rape victims have to deal with physical abuse from the rapist, psychological trauma, societal stigmatization etc. Who should not be forgiven a thief or a rapist? Am in support of the senate move on life imprisonment for rapist, though I think they deserve more punishment. What's your view.

@op, both are crime and should attract a jail penalty.

In my own view,only a murder case should attract a capital punishment. And for the Rapists, 10years imprisonment is enough to teach them a deserved lessons.

A rapiist deserves no mercy!! That's very avoidable unlike a thief who could have been left with fewer choices owing to the cruelty of the society.
