This is obviosly a lie, as a member, no such meeting will hold without due notification of its members, u guys shd take it easy, NEC meeting is schedule to hold next week.

THERE IS NOTHING LIKE ANY ASUU NEC MEETING HOLDING TODAY, PLS BE WISE AND DONT BE DECIEVE. NO DATE HAS BEEN FIXED YET TILL FURTHER NOTICE.

I school at Unijos...bt my family house is in Kano.
Pls belive me.
Yesterday I posted on Nairaland requesting for the location of the supposed meeting.
Just to be sure...since I got no tangible replies, I went down to BUK myself.
I can tacitly tell u all there is nothing like NEC meeting.
the Few students I managed to see on campus...told me they had no inkling of such meeting.
just to be safe I
made sail to the ASUU secretariat...it is as Dry as a desert.
Dear students ...Pls disregard Any such stories as ASUU NEC meeting today.
I managed to get the position of One Bala Bompai ..He claimed to lecture at the department of sciences ...I posed as a campus Life journalist for The Nation newspaper.
He told me exclusively that the position within the Rank of ASUU is that there will be no NEC meeting untill say after Iyayi is buried.
he told me to disregard the notion that the NeC meeting has been postponed indefinitely.
He concluded by saying that as soon Iyayi is buried The Meeting would be reconvened.
P.S: he told me The fact that Iyayi"s burial is in no distant future, dec 5th to be precise..we shld just be patient with the union.
PPS: I didnt go through the hassle of typing this for jokes.
