1)As frosbel rightly pointed out to you, Jesus did not teach anyone to go tithe, but he made derogatory statements about these religious men. They depend and rely so much on what they do that seem to them as the full height of righteousness.

2)New Testament of grace did not start during Jesus' earthly ministry but after His death and most importantly His Resurrection.
