saintandsinnerz: Some Nigerians with their dubious minds, so because the ops asked that interested learners should provide a car, hence he should be suspected eh? FYI somebody can have access to a car but doesn't know how to drive and may not have money to pay for driving school. So the ops offer should be grabbed immediately for those who meet the criteria.

Trust me anyone or let me say 90% of those that have access to a car (to use and learn) definitely have people to teach them.....

EyesulO: Seeing there are lots of people who will love to know to drive but can't get someone to teach them to drive for one reason or the other. I mean serious people who are tired of being disadvantaged in any way for not knowing how to drive. I am offering free driving lessons for 20 people who meet the following criteria:
1. You are willing and available to learn within the next one week.
2. You have a car to learn with.
3. You reside in Lagos.
4. You will come back to this thread and post your progress and appreciation to the mods for making this post visible for all to see.
Send me an sms on 08124079748 convincing me of your need to know to drive. Cheers

This is really funny. How can you instruct a learner that he or she should be willing to learn within one week as everyone do not have similar degree of assimilation? Also instructing people must have a car? Technically, he or she is probably a good driver if anyone has a car. Is this suppose to be some kind of Tv or Online reality show that Someone should text in a convincing way of the need to learn how to drive? Lastly, are you a certified driving trainer? do you own a certified driving school? Please, be very careful of what you wish for as there are many ways to .........................

You said it all! But Where are you going to get 19 extra hands to offer free driving lessons to 20 people if available? Are you interested in selling 20 or more cars? Do you have a connect at Cotonou? Or you have a target for the Christmas and New Year? This guy is hilarious!

I don't see how this is a privilege to people who own cars.

It should be a privilege to you instead.

I think the op doesn't want a damaged car after teaching for free. It's understandable that he wants people have(not necessarily theirs) cars so that when they damage them, they'll be responsible for the repairs. And he's still rendering a very good service for free here, people should appreciate that.
It can also be that he doesn't have the resources to start up a driving school yet but wants to build a loyal network of pioneer clients who'll refer him to prospective clients which is a smart and honest move.

Hello guys, I have always being a fan and and addicted reader of nairaland for years, but never commented on any topics, actually this is my first time of making a comment for the driving issue, that is a welcome development but please extend it to other states, one thing I hate on this thread is the way people who usually say "first or second to comment on any articles" this to me looks so childishly, please let be mature when commenting, I shall also be coming up with a different articles with might interest you guys, so stay tune... many thanks to You guys anyways, cheers....

Dunno why the little pleasures people get from what may be crap to someone else bothers you so.

This is just a hilarious thread... From good samaritan OP to over sabi nairalanders.
Not to talk of poster Frank (welcome sir) who wants a hero's welcome for finally making a comment... grin.

NL cracks me up I swear down!

Ehmm... OP, there are serious points in some, if not most, of the comments.

Perhaps you should consider them and modify your requirements.

If you really wanna help, don't be discouraged by the tone.

FYI, I bought my first car without knowing how to drive. So yeah, such people exist. Not sure if they need the charity though.

gommex: If d op insist on one avin a car b4 he can teach dem, then I will advise pple to b weary of d op, dat op sounds suspicious, dat condition dos not sound reasonable

Oga the op is 99.9% right cos I once taught one of our Nollywood actress and her Hubby who worked with Nigerian Airways............ They bought a car; Hyundai Sonata V6 Auto transmission but the can't drive, so I had to teach them though they paid for that service.

@ Op I like your spirit sha, would have join you #Team Teach Free Driving# but time factor sha.
