The Doctor and Folawe headed to various sections where pewople who has contracted HIV/AIDS are. She explained different things to her about it, "it doesn't kill if one uses drugs"



Tears was almost dropping from Folawe's eyes. "I'm also positive?" She was deliberating. They ended their observations and lectures, straight back to the Doctor's office who brought out the result of the test. It was a pregnancy test.

Folawe got back to the hostel not minding the people around and continued weeping. She dropped her things immediately she got to the room and continued weeping. "Its all over, I'm done for!"



"It hasn't reached that aspect, it can be solved! I've gotten the drugs that can wash it down when you were busy rushing here annoyingly." Sayo uttered and walked closer to her.



She gave the drug and pitied her. Folawe used the pills immediately. "There's no problem for you, everything will be washed down within a twinkle of an eye." She assured.


"This is a problem sha, Sayo how did you even know the drugs? Or..." Fiyin winked.



"I've always known that you aren't normal. I saw Rolake using it, as a recommended drug by the Doctor." She replied.



"Rolake?" Ronke wondered.



"You guys don't know her!" She exclaimed.



"Oops! Better."


Folawe laid down and slept, some minutes later, she began to bleed uncontrollably with a severe stomach ache. They all tried all they could, to assist her but everything was abortive. There was no choice but to call Lanre.




Lanre quickly left the office and ran to the hostel. He called them when he got there and Folawe was quickly rushed into the car and driven to the hospital. "What really happened?" Lanre was panicking.



"Em.. She took a drug that is somehow reactive." Sayo quickly talked.



"Reactive drug? Where did she get it from? You guys were there when she was using it?"



"Yeah, but we couldn't stop her because we never knew." Fiyin added.



"This is serious oh, we must just disappear here and appear in the hospital, what is the drug for?"



"Sse, we don't know!" Ronke replied sharply.




¤HOSPITAL¤



She was rushed into the hospital and the treatment started immediately. Lanre quickly left the hospital to withdraw some amount of money. He got back few minutes later, as if he disappeared into the bank to get the money. He quickly settled the necessary bills and took his seat, shaking his two legs.



They were all seated at the reception, all thinking, no one could predict the next step neither could they predict the next action.




They were there for three hours and some minutes before the Doctor eventually came out to break the news, then, Lanre was already asleep. "She took abortion pills that affects the womb, now, she can't give birth to any child again, although, it has been flushed out and she's now alright." The Doctor uttered.



"She won't be able to give birth again?" Ronke wondered and quickly turned to confirm if Lanre was awake.



"Please ma, don't let this man know she took abortion pills and don't tell him she won't be able to give birth again ma." Sayo begged.



"Who's the man?"



"Her close friend.." They chorused.

FOLAWE WALKED INTO THE ROOM, so weak and tired. Lanre didn't know anything, he was just told that she had a terrible stomach upset but used a different drug that turned around to do evil. He waited a little with her before he finally lefT and went back home.



"So, what are we going to do now?" Sayo asked.



"Do what? Who caused this now?" Fiyin uttered angrily.



"Hey! Don't utter those words, at least its for our benefit. I never knew it would turn out to be this at last."



"This isn't time to abuse one another, just let her rest!" Ronke shouted.



"She is! It doesn't mean she won't sleep if we discuss, isn't she that caused all this?" Fiyin exclaimed.



"Fiyin, don't get me annoyed, its not funny."



"I just pity the poor girl, she won't be able to conceive again now." Fiyin uttered.



"Its isn't my fault, God help us."

Folawe slept for a while before she woke up back, weeping profusely. "Hope Lanre don't know?" She firstly asked.



"He doesn't, so what do we do next?" Fiyin asked.



"I'm fed up, don't know what else to do now, really fed up and tired!" She cried.



"This case is really serious, we even don't know what to do." Ronke uttered.



Folawe picked her phone and met Lanre's whatsapp messages, greeting her and asking about her state of health. She didn't know what to type there, she just kept staring at the phone. "Its all over."

The following day....



Immediately she left the lecture hall, she left for Lanre's place of work to go and appreciate him for his gestures towards her the day before. She got there and interacted with him and Vivian for some minutes, she got a message and quickly checked. It was Evelyn that sent her the message, "please help me talk to bro Lanre, he hates our father to the point I can't explain. Presently, dad is now a changed man and has promised to be fathering us, but he's been refusing since some days ago."



Folawe smiled, happy she wad there at that time. "Your sister just inboxed me."



"Wetin she send now?" He smiled back.



"She said I should beg you to forgive daddy." She replied.



"That's a not an issue dear, he's not a father, he's useless, worthless, doesn't care..."



"No! Do you know how happy I'll be, if I have that kind of your father now? At least I have no parent, no one to care for asides you and other friends."

understood either one. To view Death as the
Opposite of Life is to be ignorant of the fact that

Absence of it. Now tell me, Professor, do you
teach your Students that they evolved from a
Monkey?
Professor: If you are referring to the Natural
Evolutionary Process, yes, of course, I do.
Student: Have you ever observed Evolution with
your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shook his head with a Smile,
beginning to realize where the Argument was
going)
Student: Since no one has ever observed the
Process of Evolution at work and cannot even
prove that this Process is an On-Going
Endeavour, Are you not teaching your Opinion,
sir? Are you not a Scientist but a Preacher?
Student: Is there anyone here who has ever seen
the Professor's brain? Felt it, touched or Smelt
it?...
(Everyone broke out into Laughter)
Student: No one appears to have done so. So,
according to the Established Rules of Empirical,
Stable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says that
You have No Brain, sir.
With all due respect, sir, how do we then Trust
your Lectures, sir?
(The Room was Silent. The Professor stared at
the Student, his face unfathomable)

Folawe left Lanre's place and headed to Tayo's studio to greet him. She got there happily and met Pemisire and her father both seated and playing. "This is great oh." She smiled as she entered while Pemisire ran towards her and both hugged.



"How are you Folawe?" Tayo smiled happily.



"I'm good Boss. I'm coming, I want to ease myself." She uttered.



"Yeah, that's the way to the toilet." He pointed.



She smiled. "Thanks."



She walked there and brought out her phone and quickly pinged Vivian that she was already at Tayo's place. They both started their quick discussions. Vivian agreed to come immediately as a surprise. "I'll beep you once I get to the area."



"Once I tell you to come inside, you should." She replied.



"Alright."



She quickly informed Evelyn also that she had settled the quarrels between father and son. She washed her hands in the wahing hand basin and walked outside.


"So how are you Pemisire?" She carried her.



"I'm fine ma." She smiled.



"Good, so how far about the form I filled?"



"The competition is next week Tuesday." He replied.



"You never told me!" She uttered, wondering.



"The woman just called me also, just thought I'll come to drop Pemisire in your hostel because I'm traveling tomorrow."



"That's not a problem, but what if I've gone for lectures?"



"That's a problem. I don't want to take her to my mother."



"Alright, I've gotten you. I'll skip the lectures tomorrow then, when will you return?"

Folawe got messages from Evelyn appreciating her for the help. "There will be a palour party on Monday, next week in bro Lanre's house, you must come!" She wrote.



Folawe smiled. "Alright, I will." She replied.

"I'm alright for now." She smiled.



"You can't tell me that! Okay? Here? No be here!"



"I'm serious." She smiled.



"Okay." He smiled back.



She got beeped by Vivian. "I'm almost at the junction, how do we go about it?"




"Alright, I'll bring him outside now, so once I tell you to come, you do!" She replied.



"So, I have a surprise for you." Lanre uttered.



"I have too, let me show you mine first." She smiled.



"Haha, surprise?" He wondered.



"Let's go outside." She stood up.



"Its when someone buys car for another they take each other outside oh." They both laughed.



They got outside while Folawe quickly beeped Vivian to quickly come.

Vivan pulled out from the corner, dressed in a red gown and looking perfectly gorgeous. She was smiling. "I said where's the surprise?" Tayo grumbled.



Folawe pointed to her as she was coming. "There she comes." She smiled.



Lanre stared at her as she was coming. He immediately recognised her with her walking steps and the gown she was putting on. "Urgh? Vivian?" He grinned.



"Yeah, Vivian." Folawe smiled and moved forward to hug her. "Welcome." She uttered.



"Thanks." She smiled back.



Tayo kept staring at both of them, his mouth was wide opened. "Where did they know each other?" He was thinking.



"How are you Tayo?" She moved closer to him and hugged him.



"Hug? I'm I dreaming?" He thought and crossed his hands on her back.


"I'm... F..fine." He stammered out.



"So, why are you stammering, its still the same me, Vivian." She smiled.


Folawe entered into the studio, "let me be playing with my beautiful friend." She uttered and walked inside happily.



"Thanks dearie." Vivian waved and smiled.



"So how have you been?" Vivian inquired.



"Em.. Not good oh, since we broke up, I've been empty. Please, I need you in my life."



"I can't laugh. You are married man!" She smiled.



"My marriage has fallen apart, everything is working out badly without you." He uttered.



"Tayo, all is well. What of your daughter?"



"She's inside the studio, she's good." He replied.



"That's good, we thank God for that."



"You've not replied what I said oh, I really need you.." He uttered.


"So you do? You've not been searching for me, have you?" She smiled.



"I have been now. I went to your aunty's place but she didn't tell me your whereabouts, where do you stay now?"



"I'm now working with an Oil and gas company since I left the other place." She uttered.

"That's another issue entirely." She smiled.

Michael and his friend, Charles were in the hotel, both discussing about Olawale, while Michael was crying, very unhappy and couldn't eat, his mother, also arrested and everything turning around for bad. "Its a very simple matter, we'll deal with them!" Charles assured.

Folawe and Pemisire started their real business. Folawe started her compositions while she started teaching Pemisire her dance steps. They both continued their practice, till the Tuesday that they set off, fully prepared for the Competition.



On their way, they were double-crossed by a car and Pemisire was kidnapped.
