Ah Godwon murdered and buried Sinzu o , that waiting for you track almost made me shed tears for Sinzu . Not surprised though he's been a battle rapper all along , won a rap battle contest organized by Eminem back in the USA. U gotta love d combo). But dat being said, Godwon track was everything a diss track shd hv, its bullish, super comic and personal. Am sure dat wen u 1st heard d track, u almost shed tears for sinzu lol, i knw i did haha...bottom line, sinzu cldnt reply cos dat track hurt lol, he started claiming d bigger man. Secondly for guys claiming hiphop head and dont respect mode9? I tire for una. Wat will i say abt modo dat true hiphop heads dunno already? Those of you saying mode 9 killed it are just being gullible. He took rap music as a career and now covering his shame by making the gullible ones believe he is sticking to hip hop culture. Music is all about Show Biz not Literature. If you aint making muller then you are getting it wrong. Even american rappers dont do the kind of hip hop mode 9 is doing, cos they have all move on (evolved) Mode 9 is still stucked in the year 1990 -1997 rap music. Rap music evolved so it can share the spot light with higly demanded R&B and Soul music. Im my opinion, rugged man got it right both commercially and lyrically and is the clear winner. Mode 9 failed woefully commercially but is a force to be reckoned with lyrically.(But remember say the lyrics no sell o hahahahaha......) To make my point clearer, If you took music a career would you rather have the success recorded by Rugged man or Mode 9? I already know you answer.. keep it 3 Likes |

Bro! ya know next to nothing 'bout rap.. Mode9 is a conscious Mcee like Talib Kweli, KRS1, Nas etc.. There's a big diff btw a conscious Mcee and a commercial rapper. You don't judge a conscious mcee wif his garage or his ice, There lyrics is their power the fact dat they don't floss 'bout abulm sales or cars doesn't mean they're broke.. If Mode is broke I don't think he'd av that kinda discograhy.. Go checkout d number of mixtapes and abulm he's released, a broke nigga dare not venture into such if it's not profitable..
