Making profit is about cost/benefit and demand/supply. Adenuga is in business to penetrate consumer market and make profit. It will cost to get there. Some of the people that will get him there are politicians, and their service don't come free. Will you ask and get a free phone or free charge card from glo? If we want a society where politicians are completely or almost completely shorn of corruption then we should abandon democracy and go for socialism or communism. No democratic govt anywhere in the world would accomodate Adenuga's scale of success and market domination without some unregulated reward in its own benefit. Its the way you grease relationships and sustain your relevance.

I don't see any government of a civilised country forcing entrepreneurs to do something unconstitutional before they help their business grow, cos the most gain is theirs in the long run

OBJ is extremely wicked

it amazes me how gullible Nigerians can be! instead of Jonathan to boldly come forward to accept or deny with prove all the weighty allegations that OBJ raised. The logical thing would have been to sue OBJ for libel if Jonathan's hands are clean, but instead he is playing power strategy on Nigerians, openings holes in OBJs reputation and hoping public opinion silences him for him so he doesn't have to deal with issues raised.
The most painful thing is that the best of Nigerians, the elites, who are well represented on a site like Nairaland are falling for the political strategy. There is hope for Nigerians but I doubt if there is hope for Nigeria.
