1) That the six zones be recognised as autonomous and federating units

2)The President shall serve one term six years tenure on rotational basis of the six geo-political zones

3)That the vice President be nominated from another zone and in the event of the demise of the President, his zone of origin will replace him not the vice

4) That the office of President be largely weak with four or five exclusive items: defence, currency, foreign affairs and National orientation/civic operations.

5) That each zone retains 50 percent earnings from its natural resources, IGR etc and contribute 20 percent to a weaker centre while 30 percent is for the general pool to be redistributed equally

6) That the parliament shall not be bicameral but cabinet system.

7) That the judiciary be decentralised with each zone having its High, Appeal and Supreme Courts

That each zone should maintain consular relations with external states and agencies

9)That the Police be decentralize with each zone maintaining its Police according to their crime and security peculiarities

10) That each zone shall have a gov-general who will overseer existing states, now collapsed as administrative provinces

11) That each zone pursue policies, economic, infrastructural policies etc that will best serve its best priorities and develop its people within their own pace and capabilities.

These and many more will be the crux of the new national architecture that will indeed bury the drummings and group positionings for 2015 elections.


The major clog may be the National Assembly not endorsing a referendum or attempting to tamper with the outcome. Then certain disadvantage sections seeking a change such as the Yoruba, Igbo, minorities, ethnic based organisations, civil society and many national reformists may react kick seriously.

GEJ the builder is sent at this point in time for this onerous task. Let's pray he gets it right and it does not go out of control and purpose.

2)if the vice president will from which zone, for example the president is from SE, can the Persident come from the SS, the problem is that the remaining 4 zones see SE and SS as the same people, just like how NW and NE are seen as the same)

4) where will the capital of each zone be, the only zone with capital is SW, for example in SE, Enugu will want to be the capital, but currently Imo and Anambra are saying they are more economic viable and developed then enugu, while in the NW, Sokoto will want to be the capital due to history, kano due to development, while kaduna due to it being the old capital of the north
5) so if from example in the SS, Cross river is the capital will, will Cross river ease to exist as a state, or you mean they will have both governor and governor- general in the same state capital.

Please you can devide northerner but please don't bring any division in the eastern region that is how our four father region it.meanwhile as a wa forward northern region, southern region eastern region, and Midwest period or accept Jonathan to sleep soon.

in africa jonathan will not be able to come out of aso rock again. when abacha wrote the 6 zones. He remain inside aso rock , till he die. Nobody saw him for many month after that, they india woman he slept with kill him. they claim.

Jonathan will never come out of aso rock again. They will shoot him dead if he create 6 zones.. because it is not a popular opinion. among the 3 largest ethnic group who consist 75% of the country. And the opinion of 25% cant determine the other majority.

The conference is not for Government to tell nigerians how they will be. but its for nigerians to agree on how they want to be. The north will hardly accept the above 'supposed' outcome.

If PH will not be the capital of South-South. They should forget the 6 zones method

Let's not pre-empt the resolutions of the Confab, GEJ represents the Best thing that has happened to Nigeria since Independence, as PHCN begins to take shape with the gradual improvement in power supply and gradual ascension of NIgeria as Africa's biggest economy .
