I only hugged a gurlfrnd one day in public i saw piercing looks from different eyes of 'bout 15pple, so annoying.

I only did that in US but i can't ne'er try that in naija at all.

I feel its the way majority of the citizenry react to such that makes it seem unlike it. Such acts are always misunderstood.
I can relate to this,on new year's eve during the hour of thanksgiving a male friend of mine, whom i have not seen for ages ran out of the queue when he sighted me and we embraced eachother.....next thing was for us to be the cynosure of all eyes and i was like " whats the bigdeal" its not like it was anything beyond a hug. Nigerians and their mentality.
