The term ‘stomach infrastructure’ rose to prominence
after the June 21st gubernatorial elections in Ekiti
where former governor Ayo Fayose trumped
incumbent Dr Kayode Fayemi. Pundits attributed
Fayose’s success to his ability to identify with the
grassroots and ‘satisfy the stomachs’ of the people.
Beyond the bags of rice, photos of the former
governor eating corn by the roadside also became
famous.
Perhaps signifying the beginning of a new type of
governance – cornocracy – gubernatorial hopeful in
Osun state Iyiola Omisore, has circulated, not one,
but two photos of himself doing the corn thing.
First it was two cobs of corn on the roadside. Greed perhaps?

Nope, we heading for Riceocracy, "democracy of rice" cuz both party(PDP, APC) seems to be distributing rice to the masses to sell their votes.

It is poverty! It started in Anambra with cash in envelope (igboman and money grin ), now food in the west(yoruba people and their stomach).
