On the fourth day of their honeymoon, the two went down for dinner.
After the incident with the so called Terry, Linda had obeyed her husband by leaving the comfort of their room only with Henry.
What she didn't tell her husband was the fact that Terry's eyes scared her. There was something about him that make her afraid.
Her new car had been transported home by her husband's secretary. Henry had been nothing but caring and understanding. She had finished her period the previous day but Henry pretended not to notice.
He listened to her, they talked about almost everything except the past. They both believed that the happenings of the past will create a fight between them, therefore, they avoided it.
They both sat down close to the table. A waiter appeared and they made their order. Linda, a plate of stir-fried rice and Henry rice and vegetable soup.
Henry saw Terry entered the resturant. He sat directly opposit Henry. Linda couldn't see him because she was sitting behind her.
The man sat there glaring dangerously at Henry. Henry ignored him. He cut a chunk of fish from his plate and fed her.
Linda loved fish. In no time, she digged her fork into his plate and devour his fish.
'sorry sugar, i can't help myself'
Henry burst into laughter. These past four days had shown him new sides of Linda.
Mr Terry was still glaring at him. After eating, Henry had kissed his wife passionately before taking her hands and hurriedly leading her out of the resturant. He had made it clear to Terry that Linda was his.
As soon as they left, Terry ushered one of his bodyguards foward.
'Titus, i want him dead'
'sir, i made a background check on the two of them, killing him will pose a problem to you'
the notorious Titus told him.
'how so?'
Terry asked.
'he is very influencial'
'as influencial as i am?'
Terry asked again.
'no sir'
'then i want his wife. I want him dead within a week. Tell the boys'
'sir, this might be difficult'
'don't worry, my father will take care of the mess. He always does'
'your father might find it difficult to take care of this particular mess'
Titus said in fear.
'who the hell is that man?'
Terry asked.
'His name is Henry Joseph. His family own an advertizing agency'
'Is that all?'
'his sister is married to the ruthless builder, Jordan Nicholas who also happened to be Henry's best friend.
His sister owned one of the most powerful law firm in Nigeria'
Titus answered.
'and?'
Terry asked.
'it is headed by barrister Kelvin and we both know how dangerous that man is. Don't forget the fact that he has been on your tail for three years now, that was why you had to leave Nigeria for more than a year'
'and am now back home'
Titus stared at his boss before dropping the last sentences.
'Very few people know who Henry really is. I don't think his wife knew he owned five very productive filling stations. He is a millionaire.
His mother left him all these. I heard his parents married for conveniance'
Terry laughed.
'i am the vice president's son. But the name of barrister Kelvin had made it clear i can't kill him. If i can't kill him, i will cunningly snatch his wife from him'

Henry unlucked their door and they entered. Linda went into the bathroom for a bath.
As she bath, she wondered why Henry had not made any move towards her. Didn't he know that she longed for him? It had been two whole years for her.
'well, if the mountain will not come to Mohammed, then Mohammed will have to go to the mountain'
Linda whispered to herself. She finished bathing, picked a bathrobe and pulled it over her body. She tied the sash loosely.
At the room, she found her husband reading a magazine. Linda sat on the bed and groaned in pain.
'what is it?'
Henry asked.
'can't tell, maybe an insect bite me on my back. It hurts'
Henry dropped the paper on the floor and left the cushion.
'let me take a look at it'
Linda quickly unshashed the robe and removed it from her body.
Henry stared at her exposed bosoms, down to her flat stomach and her tigh.
'Linda...'
he called her name breathing hard.
'what is it?'
she asked him innocently. He didn't answer her.
'we are married are we not?'
he asked.
'yes we are'
'good, cause i can't bear you telling me no'
he kissed her fiercely on the lips. Linda responded with all her might. She wouldn't survive it if he stopped so she held tightly onto him.
'i miss you Linda'
Henry murmured hoarsly.
'i miss you more sugar'
she told him as she surrender herself to him
