Some men not all. Don't also forget that it takes the grace of God for personalty like that of Henry to change overnight. And personally I feel marrying Henry might not end up being a best option for Linda but let's wait and see how things unfold

Linda stared in horror as Henry and a lady kissed pationately. She must be an employee in the agency because she was putting on their tag.
The two were so engrossed in what they were doing they didn't hear her come in.
She watched as Henry tried to unbutton her shirt. It wasn't until the lady moaned that Linda let go of the lunch box she was holding.
The noise startled the two lovers. Henry turned towards it and found his wife in tears.
'Sweetypie'
'don't call me that'
she said before blindly running out of the office.
'come back here Linda'
Henry shouted but he might as well be talking to himself because Linda was already gone.
He looked at the lady in front of him. The lust he was feeling a few minutes ago was no more.
'get out of here'
he told her
'but my love i...'
'i said you should get the hell out of this place'
he shouted her. The lady picked her things and walked out.
'Esther'
Henry shouted his secretary name. The woman appeared in a few seconds.
'I'm sorry sir, she...'
'Esther for goodness sake send someone to clean up this mess'
he said as he indicated the food on the rich carpet.
He picked his phone and dailled Linda's line. It was ringing in the office. It was at that moment that his secretary saw the clutch bag on the floor.
She picked it up and handed it to Henry. He unlucked the bag and found her cellphone inside.
'cancel all my schedules for the day. I'm going home'
He picked Linda's bag, his laptop and briefcase out. At his car, a thought came to him.
He opened Linda's bag and found her car keys. He looked around and sighted her car in the parking lot.
Henry drove home with mixed feelings. The security man informed him that his wife wasn't at home.
He walked to their room and changed into a casual set of clothes. Where the hell was Daisy? Henry wondered.
He drove to his sister's house and confirmed that neither his wife nor daughter was there.
He tried his last destination; his father's house and found Daisy with a maid. His wife was no where to be found.
He quietly returned home and await her returned.

Linda had ran out of the building into the street. She had forgotten she owned a car.
She ran down the street without stopping. It wasn't until she began finding it difficult to breath that she finally stopped.
It didn't even mattered that her toes hurt, her heart hurts much more. She walked for over an hour before she found a place to sit down.
'how can you treat me so Henry, don't you know that i love you to a fault?'
she sobbed quitely. It began raining heavily. Linda didn't even look for shelter. She didn't care. She was already regreting her marriage to Henry Joseph.
She vowed to continue on her pills. She couldn't risk taking in again, not with the way her husband is behaving.
It rained for over two hours. Linda sat in the rain. Soon, it was drizzling and she was very cold and shivering.
It was getting dark when she began sluggishly walking back home.
Home to a cheating husband. It didn't sound like a place to call home again.
She knocked on the gate by 8: 15pm feeling alone, cold and betrayed.
The securityman quitely let her in. She kicked off her shoes and went into the house.
Henry quickly went on his feet on seeing her. She walked up the stairs to their room. She was freezing and her teeth were chattering.
She stood staring at herself in a mirror. She looked horrible. Her eyes were swollen. She might actually fall ill.
Henry walked into the room. He quietly unbuttoned her shirt and helped her out of her skirt.
Linda didn't have the strenght to protest. He carried her to the bathroom and gently lay her in the bathtub filled with hot water.
After a few minutes, he help her out of the tub and into a simple nightie.
Henry made a cup of tea for her but Linda couldn't swallow it. He helped her into bed and slipped in beside her.
He pulled her to him and whispered quietly in her ears.
'I'm sorry Linda, I'm really sorry'
a tear rolled down her cheeks. She was still shivering.
'Linda, you are shivering, i need to keep you warm. Please don't protest'
Henry told her. She felt him remove his clothes. He went for her own nightie, she remembered what she had witness earlia in his office and stiffened.
'please Linda, you are shivering'
She didn't care

she realised she didn't have apetite for anything.

Soon after the Nicholas left, Linda went upstairs to bed. She looked at the irony of life; Henry wanted a child while she didn't meanwhile Tara wanted one and her husband didn't.

Tara told her the next day. She had visited Linda from school. The two were sitting on Linda's bed.

she picked her purse and phone from the dressing mirror. The two left the house and began walking down the street.
Tara was chattering a bit too much. Linda wondered what Tara so desperately want to talk about.
After walking for close to thirty minutes, Linda was about to suggest they went back when Tara sighted a bar.
'come Linda, i need a drink'
Linda was astounded. Tara doesn't drink. She watched as Tara ran into the bar like a child who had just been offered a pack of candy.
The two women were all in jeans trousers. While Tara wore a yellow blouse, Linda wore a green T-shirt.
Linda followed Tara into the bar. She found her seated in a chair close to the window. Linda sat opposit her.
'Tara, what are we doing here?'
Tara ordered for two bottles of red wine.
'Linda, i left my bag at your house, hope you have some cash in that purse of yours'
Linda nodded a yes. Tara unsealed a bottle, pour some into a cup and gulped it down her stomach.
Linda followed suit. After all, she too had issues in her marriage. Soon the two women were competing. The ordered for two more bottles.
Both were already drunk. They were into the second bottled when Tara made an announcement.
'Jordan will surely kill me Linda'
'And i want to kill Henry over and over again'

she blurted out while laughing.

Am surprise everybody is castigating Henry and I believe we've been following the story closely. Henry had numerous girl friends out of which Linda was one of them. Linda ran away and later discovered she was pregnant. From the storyline am sure u will agree with me that Henry got married to Linda not Becos he loved her that much to marry her but Becos she already has a baby for him after all, all along that they were dating he kept on reiterating that he wasn't ready for marriage. So if Linda feels between the twinkling of an eye a 32yrs old man that has numerous girl friend will suddenly marry and then settledown for his wife alone then she must be a joker. Let's not deceive ourselves it takes the grace of God for a guy to marry one out of his numerous girl friend at hand and later stick to only his wife. Had it been he used to have girl friends before and later decided to stick to only one them for a long time and they both got married is a different thing entirely. But what Henry did was marrying one of his numerous girl friends that has a baby for him Becos he feels he should have a family, and remember his father actually asked him whether or not he was sure he want to get married. So for me I blame Linda knowing the kind of person Henry is and still going ahead to marry him. Mind u am not saying what Henry is doing or has done is a good thing but don't u think it's very difficult to seperate Dog from bone.

Exactly the same thing I thought. I also do not blame Henry for his character seeing the type of home he came from which gave him a bad notion about marriage neither do I blame Linda for loving him blindly even with his silly behaviour. Tiffany ur work is really a lovely piece which is y I think u re really rushing it . Some chapters were like u were writing a summary or simply not giving us the details. Aside few typos ur work is great n ur story line superb. More ideas to u dear.

Henry quitely pick Linda and swung her over his shoulder. The four of them boarded Jordan's car to Henry's and Linda's duplex.
The men were all quite while the women chatter away. They were both thinking of the most possible way to punish their wayward wives.
