Your code isn't readable
Use some variables to store length and sum.

What are you testing for in your conditional statement?

Good day all, I just stumbled on this thread, never heard of Andela till recently, thanks to Mark coming to Nigeria, I found our there is an ongoing application cycle for females, I am really interested as I have this growing passion and itch for IT especially programming and software eng. I wanna know, can I apply to this current cycle, especially as I have no computer background except for the basic ms packages every other person knows... Where do I start.? Help a sis please.

i'm not even going to pretend it was fun testing your code but when run on idle, it gives this error:

manipulate_data(1, 2, 4, -5, -9)
TypeError: manipulate_data() takes 1 positional argument but 5 were given

please edit that code so its more readable. use



for i in num_list:
        if i >= 0:
            positive += 1
      
        else:
            negative += i

if you copied your code, you wont understand mine

Anyway, have fun!

I don't think Andela needs non-programmers. I studied every sh*t they gave me, I checked many videos and also read some other books, yet.....

I'll have to study harder, learn some languages properly, and then re-apply. Andela, I will be back!

I dont know what you're being asked to solve but try enclosing those numbers in square brackets and run it again.
