I'v been following up this thread just yesterday...I must say this is impressive...Been looking for piano like minds.I'm a pianist too,though still practising and playing...we keep playing till Jesus calls us home ...I need any whatsapp group for pianists to discuss and interact.

How do I phatten chords...like making it more sweet and emotional in tone...like if I'm on C major....Also do I have issues with playing bass lines with my left hand after I split voice on the keyboard ....Thanks as I anticipate replies

U can phatten a C maj by having double melody...what i mean is if you wanted to G C E..U can as well add E before the G note...and you can play the 1 5 1 on your left hand..and also try to play on lower octaves, C2-C4 on your piano...so in total u have, C G C//E G C E...then there are some other chords that have a lot of notes thereby making it naturally phat...but if youre looking for hw to spice up thin chords thats the way...about ur bass lines, you should work on ur fingerings

Karleb remember that video about simon keys?...I watched it and I understood what he said...he was teaching how to improvise using chord tones, that is improvising on the notes of whatever chord he's playing in his left hand...and he gave examples of things to do when improvising, they are called transition notes just as we have passing chords...so the examples are(according to how he said it) :

below notes : B-C,Eb-E
above notes : C#-C,F-E
below and above notes : B-C#-C,Eb-F-E
