Our young men are busy looking for short cuts to success. No shortcuts except hardwork through the legitimate way.!!

Anytime I travel 4 vacation I do see many young nigerian boys doing odds jobs that will make u want to cry.

Economical and financial ignorance are the problems of the young men and women of Nigeria today.

Who will prefer to spend their time either talking football; insulting the government or looking for countries to run to.

Indians who have seen d goldmines in this country are tropping in their thousands to take advantage the millions in nigeria yet the so called Nigerians are fighting to go other countries to wash plates etc jst to a make a living. ..

This is a modern day story of the PRODIGAL SON

point of correction, the Kinsley guy did not dupe d OP its just that Op did not understand that a deal broker or Agent need a commission and those commissions are factored in the price of Goods, his new to international business.

These are my thought of things forcing Nigerians to emigrate.

1) Dirty environment. The surroundings in Nigeria are too dirty and smell bad. Those who manage to leave the country to a new environment where things work orderly won't want to go back home even at the expense of begging to survive.

2) Lack of constant supply of electricity, water, better waste management, good road, good housing, etc.

3) The society. The Nigerian society is too dangerous. Arms men attack innocents routinely.

4) Boko Haram is threatening people and most are afraid to be in the country to be caught in bomb blast.

5) There is no hope of getting a job after graduation due to too many people vying for a particular job. We have seen that happened during the Nigerian immigration recruit.

6) Malaria and other diseases. There are too much diseases in the country that there is constant sickness and lost of proper reasoning from those suffering of malaria without good treatment or good hospitals to take care of them.

7) No hygienic food and drinking water. The food in Nigeria is prepared in a dirty environment and is not clean for human consumption. The same with drinking water. That is one of the reasons why Nigerian children look ugly and horrible.

8.) Selfishness and hate. The society doesn't care about the poor and they are hated.

9) Lack of opportunity. There is no room for the poor to get to leadership positions and do something to help the poor.

10) No welfare programs. There is no program in place that care for the elderly people and youths who couldn't fend for themselves.

11) Barbarism. The human rituals and cultism are scaring people to leave the country for them not to be used by the aggressive ritual practitioners.

12) Huge poor population. The percentage of the poor population is increasing as silly Nigerians are bent on having too many children more than they can care for.

13) No organized and civilized settings. The whole place is like a waste management yard. People don't do things according to rules and regulations. In fact, many Nigerians are taking the backward practice with them to developed nations.

14) Lack of cleanliness, body and clothes. Most Nigerians don't wash their bodies properly and their clothes are usually dirty.

It is nothing new. Guangzhou is a place where you see all manners of Nigerian misfits with earpiercings "forming" Yankee.
There is a hotel within the business district where some of the traders lodge at night. The game is that the one with valid documents gets a room and others sneak in for the night when the receptionist's attention is diverted. If you cannot sneak in...oh well.
Outside the hotel is a little drinking joint that serves local dishes like isi-ewu, pepper soup, etc. The place is a bubbling spot for Nigerian men and Ethiopian female prostitutes. Be ready to see men leave their food and tear race if there is a rumour or alarm of Immigration officials within the vicinity. See hustle.
They make for good shopping escorts. They add their nzama and life goes on. Talk about gold-diggers and jealous gf, I don't think anyone beats the Chinese women to that. U go hear how they sleep holding their naija guy manhood to make sure the thing no waka go bang another woman. grin.
I heard that before, the Immigration will just deport some people. But these days, na u go buy your ticket. So some naija guys still dey detention attracting demurrage because nobody come clear them as cargoes.
China is tough. You are better off driving okada or Keke in Nigeria. As it seems, a lot of folks are stuck there. Stay...wahala; leave...wahala.

Boys make u shine una eyes before jumping on that plane to China.

o42austino: Thanks for bringing the plight of many Nigerians living in a foreign land to our notice but to think that Kinsley is cheating you by fixing a commission with the seller is stupid of u.

first how do u think Kinsley survives in China?, listen what he did is called brokerage or Agent and he need commission at the End of the day to keep body and soul together, every commission is factored on the price of every goods ur purchasing, maybe ur new to international business thats y u complain.

In trying to be smart and more explanatory on brokerage affairs, you ended up miss-talking.
OP complained of Kingsley's behind-back negotiations and inflation of prices with the Chinese to dupe a fellow Nigerian you'll ideally call your brother. It got so worse on his inflated pricing arrangements that a Chinese man had to call OP to complain of the said kingsley fronting as his brother.
This isn't what you wanna paint. Sure there are commission of payment for services either from the buyer (Nigerian) of sellers (Chinese). Kingsley is 100% dubious.

Nice write up here but I can tell you that kingsley did u no harm because its law in China that when u took somenody to factory to buy goods the factory will pay you that brought customer 5% but due to greedness of chinese people they always fine away to tell you african person that they have pay your brother 20% when they paid him only 5% because they want to hijack you the customer so that next time they wont pay SAMPA his tittle and also have away to kill ur business with substandand goods because then u will not have back up who will stand for u. I will advise you never send money for those to send u goods without going in person because if you do ur name will be SAORRY. And when it happen please come back here to tell us your storry with your chinese customers or factories. I know many had so much bad experience but maybe they have not got this opportunity to let people know but u need to visit office of Nigeria community in Guanghzou china to see what chinese factories has done to Nigeria business men and women.but u can here to hate who help u to buy ut goods because chinese called u back and tell u that he paid Kingsley some % aak ur self if he was chinese that took u there will they tell u because if they do they have broke law and the guy will take them to police. Take my advise and be wise.

Nigerians also suffer alot in china., i hope that one day the nigerian government would wake up to its responsibilities.

Really...I get mad when I hear this kind of prayer...Government waking up to responsibilities to Nigerians in China? When the Nigerians right under their noses are scattered all over Nigeria and they still sleeps

listen, their is no way Kinsley will get his commission without adding it to the cost price, no Chinese manufacturer will pay kinsley if he did not factor his commission within the goods cost price.
what the op shld do is if he feel the cost of the goods is higher than his target price, he shld call the company sells representative and renegotiate price not to come hear and paint the guy as a criminal while d guy is just a hustler.
secondly, it shows Op lack of business experience, how can u the buyer not know that ur buying cost is too high?, does that mean that op does not hv target price? from all indications it looks like the op just heard heard that goods re cheap in china and decided to fly off without know his target price that he needs another man to tell him ur over paying for such goods.

Telling me to sharap is rather harsh.. This is my experience and i have every right to express my view using this medium. Informations no matter how foolish they seem could save a life out there. There are millions of Nigerians out there , if i could reach a good number of them who think China is a Gold mine and are desperate to travel , then dude i have achieved something. You saying if 50% of immigration applicants had money would they have filled up the stadium. There are many lessons to be learned
from this experience. I read people saying "it's not
new" but these vices come in different forms.
Kingsley, perhaps, did not graduate or he's
stranded and he has to get going. on the other
hand, doing business when your bargaining power
is limited by communication is like transacting
business with a mad man. Whichever way, the
man with the right sense is at risk.
A note of warning to the young generation are;
-work pays
-Reaping without sowing leads frustration
-Frustration leads to vice
-Bad company influence good behaviour
-Pick reputable individuals as a mentor,
otherwise ...
Peace!

It is not tru that all Nigerians overseas will cheat you. There are still honest Nigerians with dignity.

I import lots of products from South East Asia especially Vietnam etc. My first time i used Vietnamese ladies and later found out their fees are higher when compared to Nigerians. There are many reliable Nigerians in Asia, China inclusive. Many Nigerian guys I have met in Vietnam and many Asian countries are trustworthy, some of them will take you to factories/wholesalers for little fee.
