From time immemorial, several men have cheated on their spouses, or even married morethan one wife, with the excuse that "men are polygamous by nature." this is just another way of saying that men are born with the innate desire for more than one woman, hence the urge for multiple partners.

Now I'm curious. Is there any theory that supports this cliche Or is it just a figment of someone's imagination?

polygamy is very ingrained in the history
of the human race. It's been around for
thousands of years, by comparison
monogamy is the upstart. From an
anthropological point of view, polygamy
has been the norm for the majority of
history. Personally, while it's not the
norm now, if people want to be poly-
amorous and are open about it to those
involved, more power too them. I know a
bunch of people involved in poly
relationships and it works so much better
for them. Whatever makes people happy!
