Thanks boss, I have saved the number. Your post actually nailed it and that's just the blunt truth. I have actually talked with some prof and they told me direct that they don't have funding at the moment and that I should contact them later in the year. Another ish about those top school is that most of them require GRE subject test... which I don't have the money and time to write.
well, I am applying mostly for PHD program with research in cancer studies.. then I have one MSc program in biology as safety.

Guys, for GRE, how do someone who is ridiculously poor at Mathematics perform relatively well in it? And do we have anyone here who used Magoosh premium plan to prepare for GRE? SirRiddy, where art thou? Suggestions please.

If by relatively well, you mean scoring above 152, then it is attainable if the person does at least three months of focused prep. Manhattan is the best resource for the Quant part. The book of strategies properly dissect every aspect of the test, underscoring the most critical aspects test takers overlook. There are about 8 of these books.
Also, the person should also read the ETS official guide and solve questions from the ETS Quant books. Intermittent practice tests would help determine the rate of progress.
If he has the money, he should go for the magoosh premium. No other prep coy comes close to those guys. He should download the app too so he can prep on the go.
Practice is the way to go. Practice, make mistakes, identify the source of mistakes, find ways not make them again and watch your Quant score soar.

i didn't study for long(less than two months) so i know the scores could have been better.
i used a lot of materials doing the short study period and wld b glad to entertain questions.

My Gre score was 295 and I was very disappointed by my Gre score but after that My friend suggested me to take Magoosh Gre coaching.
The videos provided by them were seriously awesome. My score was increased by 10 points grin

av u don confirmation of your paypal account? the one they will withdraw money from your account and send you a code to confirm its your account.

After registering on PayPal, add a card (visa or master card). You must verify the card - PayPal will charge a small amount to the card; when you receive a message about the debit, a code will in the message. Use the code to verify the card attached to your PayPal. After that, you can make payments easily.
