Things Nigeria Are Lacking In The Technology World by fedrick901(m): 3:20pm On Jul 29, 2014

Nigeria is blessed with many natural resources which are not found in other country. We have seems to sand among others, yet we lack behind when it comes to advanced technology. i have decided, to list the major advanced technology missing in our beloved country today.

What is Nigeria Really lacking in the Technology world

shocked CCTV: First you have to know what CCTV means. according to Wikipedia, Closed Circuit Television [CCTV] is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal to a specific place, on a limited set of monitors. It differs from broadcast television in that the signal is not openly transmitted, though it may employ point to point (P2P), point to multipoint, or mesh wireless links. Though almost all video cameras fit this definition, the term is most often applied to those used for surveillance in areas that may need monitoring such as banks, casinos, airports, military installations, and convenience stores. Video telephony is seldom called “CCTV” but the use of video in distance education, where it is an important tool, is often so-called. indeed CCTV is in Nigeria but not in all place. The only place I have seen CCTV is on road such as Ikeja, Lagos and in Abuja. I wonder if its the only place the government want to place CCTV. But other firms do place CCTV in there company.

angry Communication Satellite: Satellite simply means, an artificial object which has been intentionally placed into orbit. Such objects are sometimes called artificial satellites to distinguish them from natural satellites such as the Moon [wikipedia]. Since Nigeria gained independent, we have lunched two satellite the firs was lost in space, and the second was lunch in Obasanjor rain but the satellite only works for weather. indeed we need a working Communication Satellite.

embarassed GPS: Global Position System simply means a space-based satellite navigation system that provides location and time information in all-weather conditions, anywhere on or near the Earth where there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites. indeed GPS don’t really work in Nigeria. so those of you in Asia and other continent are really lucky. But by 2017, Nigeria will be fully technologicalize. i assure you.

;DNuclear Technology: Nuclear technology is technology that involves the reactions of atomic nuclei. Among the notable nuclear technologies are nuclear reactors, nuclear medicine and nuclear weapons[wikipedia] indeed we don’t have nuclear technology in Nigeria the Government says it is not safe for the citizen. (I wonder why)

angry 24/7 power supply: Indeed we have electrical power supply, but aint generated. for 24 hours. i believe after the introduction of Nuclear Technology , we will have 24hours power supply

I believe before we get to 2017, Nigeria will acquire all this. what do you think? grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

You think those are the only things we lack? by the time i list the things we lack you will know that nigeria is irredemably f***c..ked

1. We lack true cable T.V and cable broadband internet
2. We lack basic portable water supply. Don't make the mistake of thinking the one we have is it, ITS NOT
3. We lack an integrated networked transportation system
4. We lack the most basic quality food chain. Have you ever seen a standard abatiors in nigeria? 99% of nigerians by meat displayed in the open
5. We lack a harmonised system of taxation. You are either double taxed, not taxed at all or something
6. We lack a communications satelite. How then can the government establish a secure defense comm. system, and a civilian comm. system?
7. We lack a true national database shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

Am even getting more frustrated at the hopeless nigerian situation as am typing. so am gonna stop here. Believe nigeria lacks almost everything, we are truly fu..ck..ed
