reduction of 61 percent.
The reduction of fees will also
apply to the other three Institutes
of Technology owned by the State
Government. The reduction of
fees will take effect from the

Also to benefit from this largesse

Forzap: WE REJECT GOVERNOR AMOSUN'S REDUCTION
This afternoon, the Ogun State Government, through
its Commissioner for Education, Science and
Technology, Barr. Segun Odubela announced
reduction in fees paid in tertiary institutions in Ogun
state, in which he announced that of Olabisi
Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. He announced that
the reduction will only take effect next session.
First, the reduction announced does not agree with
the collective decision of OOU students that they
would not pay any amount higher than N50, 000. The
students made it crystal clear to both the Students
Union representatives and the university
management that they would accept nothing more
than N50, 000.
Let it be stated clearly that as an organization, WE
REJECT THE REDUCTION IMPLEMENTED BY
GOVERNOR AMOSUN. Let it be clear that WE SEE AS
HYPOCRITICAL THE FACT THAT WHATEVER
REDUCTION IS IMPLEMENTED WON'T TAKE EFFECT
THIS SESSION BUT WILL ONLY BE IMPLEMENTED
BEGINNING FROM NEXT SESSION.
We are not fools. We know what we want and we will
not stop until we get it. The reduction Governor
Amosun announced is a joke; we refuse to take it
serious.
Since Governor Amosun has decided not to
implement the demands of OOU Students, we are
prepared to start cooking beans and frying Akara at
Oke-Imosan. OOU Students are prepared to remain
on the streets until the real reduction we want is
implemented.

THURSDAY ON MY MIND cool cool
SOCIALIST IS A COWARD.

oyb: the electorate that is forcing APC to take these measures will regret this in the long run. in this day and age, free tertiary education is simply a certificate of attendance, with no value added. students of these institutions will spend four years of their lives for a scrap of paper they cannot defend, and they will then begin to complain that the system is rigged.

but thats democracy. give the people what they want. cant be helped if the people are ejjits

very legit comment.

Firefire: Dear APC South West,

We have been undaunted about your recent Greek gifts, it is a complete caricature of dividend of democracy, where have you been since 2011

Fashola reverting LASU School fees, Amosun following.

We believe this is a matter of political strategy that can be revert once you gain power in 2015. {A case study of ACN. Kiting Okada riders in Lagos prior to election in 2011 only to ban okada after winning the election}

The state of all Lagos hinterland roads is in a state of mess, Isolo, Ketu, Badagry area, Ikotu etc.

Can you as a matter of importance declare a State of Emergency on all Rural Roads in Lagos.

Also, call your entire Local Government officials to begin serious work in their locality and stop all these sharing of LG Allocation.

I offer you this advice believing that we should get back from you the much you have stolen from the state.

APC, you are becoming unpopular and we are all waiting for 2015 to vote you OUT.
It's only people like u who have no voter's card that make threat over election. Some of u said more than this before Osun election, but now u are shut up by the outcome

Don't mind those fools dat says APC is not working. People will see d truth and still reject it.come to sango ijoko n see what Amosun is doin there, come to otta n see wat he has done.have urself come to sagamu, abeokuta, iperu ijebuode n see wat dis man is doin/done.if he did not reduce d fee he will still win d election cos I personally will vote and mobilise people who will vote for him.

Why most you people have eyes only for you not to see, A gov. Is trying to do well, yet you all saying political strategy, your school fees was adamant all this year because PDP were in Power, I left OOU Only becos I can't bear their school fees and some miscellaneous payments, hadn't been there was a government like this, I would have been a graduate by now. Now starting a fresh in a federal university rules by PDP,paying huge amount of money. I have no much interest in Politics, but I will tell you to 'say NO to PDP.
